## What is Ranch Manager Mobile?

Ranch Manager Mobile is the companion app for Ranch Manager Desktop.  Sync your herd's information across your devices so you always have up-to-date information at your fingertips.  Add notes, record breeding, AI and Embryo Transplants, track animal deaths, sales, purchases, move cattle, record pregnancy test results, apply treatments, weights and record scores. Use the custom event to record events and actions that are specific for your needs.  Multiple ID tags such as brisket, metal, plastic, government registration, tattoo and brand. Since the BSE crisis affecting cattle operations has occurred, government regulations have been levied requiring ranchers to place government issued IDs in their animals and track transactions involving animals. Ranch Manager comes with an easy- to-use interface, allowing you to conform to the industry standards. Country of origin and Premise ID is also recorded. Ranch Manager will track the expected calving due dates for your cattle, whether you pasture breed, AI or use Embryos Ranch Manager. The cattle program tracks estimated beginning and ending dates for each cow's calving season based on the days the animal was exposed to one or more sires in the same location. Estimated due dates are calculated when the breeding date is recorded (such as with AI and Embryos).  When a cow calves, Ranch Manager calculates the expected sire based on breeding information provided.Apply feeding plans to your locations and track the amount of food consumed by each animal. Ranch Manager will calculate the cost and amount of feed consumed by animals in the location where feed is applied, saving you a lot of math and providing valuable information.  And More!!

I used it and put all my info in the app, then the app crashed . Lost all the info I tried to get the desktop version also . They took my money and was never able to contact anyone as it did not work .  Poor communication on both

I have been using Ranch Manager Mobile for three or four years. I had that much data in it when I upgraded to iPhone 15. In the last minor upgrade to the app they renamed it. Because of that the AppStore said the app I was using is no longer available, thus causing me to lose all of my data. I downloaded the renamed app and attempted to pick up where I left off, only to find that the app is too buggy to use. The memo section, when opened, does not bring up the keyboard. The option to input an optional payment method is there but it won’t let you create a new method of payment. You can type something in, such as ACCOUNT, but it will only save it as other. It’s a shame they don’t try to make this app functional. The concept is the best out there but the execution is the worst.

Can’t delete an entry. If you keep playing with it the “Delete” will show ip at the bottom but it doesn’t work. Now the memo doesn’t give you the keypad, so it’s unusable.

The mobile app doesn’t let you add or edit notes or descriptions. The keyboard just doesn’t appear.
Overall it’s just a bit too clunky and without the ability to add notes it’s somewhat useless in the paddock, which defeats the purpose of having a mobile app.
