## What is Rand ELD?

DOT FMCSA self-compliant application to record driver duty status and meet the following regulations:
-60-hour/7days or 70-hour/8daysRules
-34 hour week restart with latest suspension of two periods 1-5am
-11 hours driving for the day
-14 hours on duty for the day
-Sleeper Berth provision
-Passenger Seat provision
-Personal Conveyance provision
-30 minutes break provision
-Location recording for vehicle’s engine turned on and off, and location recording every 60 minutes if vehicle is moving
-Mobile device permits duty status changes only when the vehicle is at rest
-The mobile device warns the driver, visually and/or audibly of any malfunction
-When the vehicle is stationary for 5 minutes or more, the mobile device will default to on-duty not driving and the driver must enter the proper status

Poor customer service, waited online for the longest time every time I had to call them for any reason. They answer quickly on the billing department but nothing else. Stay away from this vendor.

I never write reviews but developers did a poor job which I get . They aren’t the ones having to be forced to use this app .. So I’m an owner operator and was using the rand McNally ELD 50 before they updated to this system . The ELD 50 was perfect. My biggest problem with this app is that it doesn’t let me delete trailers. I haul multiple different trailers every day and whenever I add a trailer number it just stays in the system . Doesn’t let me delete it unless I log into my administrator account . Also it doesn’t give me an option to enter the Bol number . DOT requires only trailer number and bill of lading . You didn’t need to put the vin number or plate number . Those are just waste of space. Stick to what’s important. I do a lot of trailer hooks and drops per day so get that developer back and make him figure this app out . Heck you could fly me in pay me and I’ll show that developer exactly how to make this app user friendly.  You can email me at KMAKSSS25@gmail

ELD 50 was perfect in regards to its set up, functionality and ease of use. The platform was well designed unlike the new device. Please consider formatting the new E LOG system just like the ELD 50 platform. Fuel logging, log corrections, visibility simplification and others are lacking greatly. It’s a great product, but it can be even better. Have ELD 50 platform in mind.

HOURS OF SERVICE & COMPLIANCE
- Cycle hours are now reduced correctly after unidentified logs are reassigned back to the Unidentified driver profile.
- The Unidentified Driver Profile is now included in Print/Display Logs (PDF) generated on the device.
- Driven and On-Shift limits now extend correctly when Adverse Conditions is enabled at 90% of the driving limit.
- Personal Use now stays disabled in the app when it is turned off in the portal, and prompts for confirmation after an ignition cycle.
- Yard Move now prompts for confirmation after an ignition cycle and no longer switches to Driving on its own when speed passes 20 MPH (32 km/h).
- The Positioning malfunction no longer triggers when valid GPS data is available while driving.
