My settings allow all notifications from it, I’ve had volume and ringer sound on but it doesn’t make any noise. I also don’t ever sleep through alarms so if there was an alarm, I would’ve heard it. ### 4/5 — Love cards! *2019-04-06, version 3.9* The cards feature is perfect for card games like Ring of Fire!! ### 4/5 — Just needs a tweak or two *2017-02-05* For the regular random number generator, it needs an option to prevent duplicating numbers already generated. **Developer response:** To get the result without repeating numbers you can use the Shuffle feature which generates the list of numbers in a random order ### 4/5 — Randall *2016-05-29* Very good for my use as a random alerter to practice a particular emergency or abnormal procedure while practicing flight simulator maneuvers. I wish it had a customizable sound feature that would include bells, chimes, buzzers etc to run simultaneously randomly with the timer so various random types of emergency warnings could be set to sound at random customizable times during the training session. ### 4/5 — Great *2011-06-28* All I wanted was a simple randomizing app and this was perfect. Soon we’re going to be renting our air… ### 1/5 — You buy almost everything *2020-02-26, version 3.9* Only comes with number and direction ### 1/5 — Must pay for every feature *2017-05-26* When it says "in app purchases" what it actually means is you have to pay $0.99 for EVERY feature in this app you want to use. There isn't even a trial period of a single hour so you can see if you think it would be worth the money before buying. Paid the $0.99 to be able to use the random timer for a meditative practice. The timer doesn't work unless you keep the app open which makes it useless to me. Money wasted. **Developer response:** I'm sorry for the negative experience. The new version of the app has a random Alarm feature that sounds like the feature you were hoping to get when you wrote the review above. Thank you for taking the time and writing a review. ### 1/5 — Useless *2016-11-02, version 3.9* I thought that reorder elements was meaning that you could randomly shuffle a list of elements (words,numbers) but it doesn't allow to write any words and you can't even change the number. Same thing for lottery. If you were looking for an app to randomly choose a winner from a list of name... Look somewhere else. This is totally useless to me! ### 1/5 — Mope *2012-02-23* Reapeats after 3742 numbers **Developer response:** You should try the latest version... it starts repeating after 69420 numbers ### 2/5 — Alarm doesn’t sound. *2022-08-16* Wanted it for the random alarm, but it doesn’t sound - even with notifications on. ### 2/5 — Lies *2016-12-25, version 3.9* It says in the description that it comes with all of those extra features but it only has numbers and directions, you need to pay for the other ones and they're also way too expensive. ### 3/5 — Seems good *2017-08-09* Couldn't figure out how to link email so am writing this review in hopes I'll get the other features unlocked. Random number generator is good, just wish you could customize more: change what intervals it's random i.e. by 0.5s or 0.001s; how many numbers are generated; whether numbers can repeat. Random direction is fine too, but again should be setting where you can just change it to N E S W, or choose how many slices the pie has so you can do things like spin the bottle. Other ideas: Could add a custom one where we can input our own words i.e. people's names, restaurants, colors, etc. and let us choose how many of these items are randomly chosen. For example, I enter ten names, and the app randomly picks two, so these two can be the captains of a basketball game. Also a random word/letter generator, which would be good for freestyle rap battles. I would probably edit this review and rate higher if I saw how the other features worked. **Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time and writing a review with great feature suggestions. If you download the latest version of the app (4.0,0) you will get all the features for free! I plan to update some stuff based on your feedback ### 4/5 — One broken option *2024-12-05, version 4.6.1* So many options to play with! I really like the app and use it regularly. However, the “month and day” feature of Date & Time is broken. For a while it would only generate dates from September-December. Now they are all December only. I’ve been using the Time mode instead and converting the output to a month and day. ### 4/5 — Effective, simple app *2023-09-05* The app is useful and easy to use. For some reason, my random alarms gradually stopped going off and I'm not sure why, but it could just be my phone. Not sure. **Developer response:** This issue should be resolved now. You could also use this feature in the app to draw numbers randomly electronically instead of tearing up pieces of paper and putting them in a hat! U can Make the range 0-500 to get a random order.
