I could play it all day tbh. I wish they still cared about it, to add stuff. I’ve never spent a penny, and have all the Dians after just a couple months. My main complaint is after a point, even if you aren’t in the top 100, you start getting matched up against the top 5-ish players, who all have one of the same 2 builds, and don’t even use any strategy (they just hit “start round” immediately, may not even be people). What’s the point? Is it even fun? Or are you like a tiny piddly parallel to billionaires who need nothing but keep running their businesses just to keep others down and keep the top seat filled with their butt? FWIW I tend to beat these people, so it isn’t me being salty about losing. It’s just not fun to play against nobody. ### 3/5 — New to random dice games *2025-07-19* Very new to these kinda games but I’ve played some in the past and this is by far the most fun so far. Cool character designs and ideas, only thing I’m not a fan of is how many micro transactions are present. I’ve been playing since season 2 and have been rank master for the past few. I say this only because the longer I play and the higher I rank each season, the more prevalent the issue of drop rates become. For context, you get new dice types (called dian) and are able to upgrade them by acquiring chests by rolling dice in a poker style mini game. You roll 5 die and the better your roll, the higher quality chest you get. The highest rarity chest is reserved for getting a five of a kind. This was all fine and well until they recently introduced a new tier of dian called “mythic”. Before it was the standard common, uncommon, rare, and legendary that you see in these kinds of games. All with decent drop rates from the dice roll mini game. But they decided that these mythic dice should be reserved to the highest rarity chest (the one you need a five of a kind to get). That would have been slightly reasonable (still pretty garbage as I’ve only ever rolled two five of a kinds in my entire time playing), but they thought it would be a good idea to make it a 0.3% drop rate within that chest! They did up it to 0.6% in the most recent update but it’s laughable. A chest I’ve seen only ever twice with a 0.6% drop rate… the game went from great to exhausting. Keep in mind, I’m not a free to play player. I’ve spent about $40 on season passes and the like because I’ve liked the game so much. But it is way too difficult to support the devs as they continue to double down on their decision to engage with mythic Dian of which there are now 4 types. So we’re talking a crazy rare chest, with a 0.6% drop rate to get 1/4 of the existing mythic dice types that then need to be upgraded by unlocking more of them. What a joke. It’s just developmental greed that feeds the whales who spend their parents money on in app purchases. It saddens me to see where this game is headed. ### 5/5 — What the devs did right *2023-08-20* This is by far my favorite random dice game, and I will dive into why. First, the balance is so much better than all the other games. In RD defense and RD go there is basically only one build that works. RD wars is a little bit more balanced but there are still 3 dice that are basically required for any deck. This game, on the other hand, has many, many different strategies that work. In the other games, it is pretty easy to get 90%+ win rate. In this game, 75% is a very high win rate. One other this that makes this game better than the rest is the turn based system. In RD defense and RD wars you basically only have one life before you lose. The turn base system of this game and RD go is just superior to the other system, because it makes comebacks possible. ### 5/5 — Great game and no need to pay to win *2023-07-26, version 1.3.3* I have played a lot of other random dice games and love them! They can sometime feel a little pay to win though. I have been playing this game for a few weeks now and you can almost immediately get some pretty competitive dice for free. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Pay to Win *2025-02-09* Update: Still pay to win. Once you get to Master or Grandmaster it’s just full of South East Asian players who dumped their life savings into level 10 Legend and Mythic dice. You don’t win unless you dump money into this app. Keep your wallet closed. Don’t bother with this game if you’re trying to play without spending. Everyone will have the upper hand as they always rush to get Mimic and tons of legendary dians. There’s also tons of balancing issues in this game wheee 6 dot dians can still lose to 3 and 4 dot. Made it to Diamond and you can clearly see the people who have their wallets open. Also is there no way to select regions? So now an opponent can just have a bunch of those, turn all your characters into Mimics and it’s over from there. I liked this game a lot and even kept playing throughout the horrendous monetization that was added. However Mutation is a genuinely atrocious character design and it’s sad no one with an IQ above 50 was around to tell you guys not to put it in the game. ### 1/5 — 🤢 A Bad Money Grab *2023-07-24, version 1.3.2* Do Not Download and Do Not Play. 👎 Every update releases over-powered heroes/Dians or money grab psychological mechanics like their introduction of Random Cores or their constant pop ups if your losing to spend money to get better heroes. ### 1/5 — 111 Refuses to listen to feedback *2023-06-26, version 1.2.5* The Lightning dian can literally become invincible while wiping your entire team and there’s nothing you can do about it. It is fair and mostly balanced, but it is also difficult at times. It’s really interesting how hard you need to think sometimes to build the right deck or counter a good player. The sad news is that the game hasn’t been updated in 9 months!!
