I do still think that RD: RollRoll is much better. The main problem with this game and RD: Defense is rainbow dice/ growth dice. Sure, it allows players to greed, which is good, however it basically requires you to use these dice to win. This used to not really be a problem because you could spend SP to level up your SP gain, but they got rid of that feature. I do still think this game is so much better than RD: Defense. But you will eventually get bored of it. Once you do, I highly suggest you check out RD: Go and RD: RollRoll ### 4/5 — Great game *2023-03-06* Hours of fun, especially if you enjoy random dice. Cool mechanics and challenging battles. Wish there wasn’t so much pay to win but all is achieved if you like the grind. When I couldn’t upgrade my dice was weak so people with lollipop dice kept beating me. However, either the game is too low in player base or the devs don’t allow long enough for the queue time meaning you are matched up with bots around 90% of the time. You can still enjoy the game with that little player base for a while but you will likely get bored quickly so don’t recommend spending to bully some bots XD There is a co op boss mode which is decent however not good enough to make the game playable for a long enough amount of time. Please create an update that stops this glitch. Without using money you will quickly earn a legendary dice. If you participate in the guardian of legendary dice’s challenge you will earn a good legend dice. It also easy to get legendary material for the guardian’s quest. Some of the events allow you to get really really really good dice such as lollipop and mafia. (If you even know what they are lol) Here is an easier way to say this. I’m addicted! But some dice are a bit too over powered, and I wanted to explain why. Typhoon dice is known for its incredible speed, but shown in your first random dice game, is wasn’t known for power. That evened it out and made it fair, but typhoon dice attack damage in random dice is way to much in my opinion. If you have a lot of them you can take down someone in a matter of seconds and it’s not fair for anyone. I have typhoon dice myself and usually people with something so powerful wouldn’t say anything about it but I know for myself it’s too much. Rock dice I have few to say about. Rock dice was fin before until you made it s minimi summon. With hoards of them together it’s just too much. I think you should get rid of the minimi part and make it back to the old way. I’m sorry, I know this was long but I really wanted to share this information. Also the added gems for maintenance compensation was such a huge move for the community. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Game cheats *2023-10-17* Been playing since release 4.2k wins and 3k losses.. i can tell you the game chooses who wins, and it gets worse the higher your win rate is. They choose by not spawning all your minimi, spawn times have been random or delayed. Sometimes no damage is done to the enemy. Still a fun game, just understand you will play bots sometimes and you will lose matches when the game decides no matter what you have. They also dont update or improve anything, they released this game then forgot about it and moved on. It is on the same weekly rotation since the beginning. I understand. ### 1/5 — Please take out Kight Guardian *2022-09-10, version 2.4.7* Pretty much whoever gets the opponents guardian to summon is going to lose. How do a group of developers not see that? The freezing of the battlefield and then switching of dice gives the opponent like 3-4 spawn advantage. Get it together. It’s like the hope is that the better you get at the game the worse the experience is going to be. It’s weird. ### 1/5 — Games still broken for me *2022-09-09, version 2.4.7* I downloaded this game a good while ago when it first came out and I wasn’t able to log in. Well I brought this problem up to support right? Not long after that the error message I was being hit with turned from a window titled “Whoops!” And the content of the warning being only “error” to basically(paraphrased) “there is an undefined error, our team is currently working to identify the cause of this problem, please enter a support query so we may better identify the cause.” Like bro I gave you guys all the information I could. It’s months on months later and it’s still not fixed. It’s a shame I used to be a fan of the devs but these shenanigans are too much man if you got a bug that you know about, you fix it. That’s just game upkeep guys. A swing and a miss. You can get to about rank 13-15 without any legendary dice but then you will be matched against players with 4-5 legendaries and get smashed most games. 2v2 is the same as well. Whoever has better dice or more legendaries on their side will most likely win. There’s very little skill in merging on account of the randomness although some dice can help (if you own them). There’s also not a lot of depth. Yeah the game is new, but it’s polished and does a single. The dev tried to set up new players with gold and diamonds via Main Quests and daily quests but the reality is that these are an abysmal trickle of resources compared to what you need to actually buy something from the shop. It’s clear they want you to spend real $ to even have fun, much less compete. I have played the original Random Dice for a year and can say that at least it’s possible to open a bunch of card chests in that game as resources depend on how far you can make it in coop mode. In THIS game, they capped you to a set number of keys (needed to open a measly chest) per day. You get an insultingly low number of dice cards and the drop rate for anything good is pathetic. TL;DR game is one dimensional and does that dimension well but pay to play saps the fun out of the game and caps on grinding rewards and really small rewards make the game impossible unless you spend big money. ### 1/5 — doesn’t work *2022-02-01* when i get in the game it just say app guard alert and it crashs the game ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — GONNA MISS IT *2024-11-21* Dear 111%, i am very sorry this game can’t continue. This is genuinely one of my all time favorite mobile games and i played it a while ago so when i found it again recently i was so happy and grinded and had so much fun! i had a deck i was really proud of (my fav is transcendent dice) and a strategy i liked. This game brought me smiles when i was bored and helped me blow off steam after a hard day. And i just had a great time! I will remember Random Dice Wars and i look forward to see what other games are in store. Thank you for an amazing game and a fun experience. Good job ### 5/5 — Came from their other game! *2023-05-02* I started playing Random Dice Defense a couple years ago, was telling my BF to download it and noticed this other game. I’m going to be honest I might like it more than Random Dice Defense. I like that you can have fun for hours without having to make a micro transaction. PVP battle is unlimited and you get 10 free CO-OP plays and then a play after watching an ad. The fact that I don’t HAVE to spend money to have a good time honestly makes me more likely to spend on it in the future to be completely honest. This game is a lot of fun to play with a friend or by yourself. ### 5/5 — You do NOT need to spend MONEY 🎲 *2023-04-06* You know loot systems, right? You get a percentage of a chance for high tier items to drop, when you pull. Most games, including this one, show you your chances AND as 111% says “1% chance is enough!” Cause it really is enough. Having a hard time in ranked? Cool, go grind the co-op boss for a day or two and I promise you’ll have enough keys to open a bunch of glorious chests. I’ve opened several, probably a hundred or two, and yeah I’ve only pulled maybe 4-6 legendaries from it, but the ranked ladder gives you rewards, the arcade ladder gives you rewards, or not ladder but the season pass (which you DONT have to buy) and if you save your gems, like idk I can easily save 2500 gems for a dice god chest. If you’re reading reviews on mobile games, you likely play a crap ton of mobile games, as do I. Random dice, Random dice wars, and random dice go are all phenomenal games that have brought me plenty of joy. And idk about you, but I try and max the battle pass before the season ends. If I get every level on the pass, then yeah I’ll buy the premium one, cause I mean, I clearly like the game enough to reach the bottom of the season pass yaknow? If you genuinely just play the game and learn the dice and don’t sit there impatiently waiting to get to 4000 trophies, then I promise you’ll find some love in this game. That goes for random dice and random dice go as well. Not only are there many rewards, but also lots of opportunity to earn gems making me want to actually use them. The mechanics are simple enough, troops get balanced within a reasonable time if they’re off. This is my first review for a game simply because it is that good. Every time I’ve had the thought “huh this game is good but it’d be better with ____” for a game it’s like this game took notes and put it in. The dice are simple but creative, the random type and spawn placement creates a fun balance of the luck vs skill aspect which I enjoy. If you play your dice combos right, you will always win, but you can’t control what you get. 10/10 recommend, it is the only game I play now going on 8 months ### 5/5 — This game is good *2022-12-10, version 2.7.21* I enjoy playing this a lot. When I finally downloaded this, I played it sparingly, but mainly played defense. I was put off by the differences in the same dice, and how they experimented with different features in each game- but I’ve grown to love Wars significantly more. I tend to favor more of the differences in Wars as well, but both are good.
