### 4/5 — Ads? Really?

*2026-08-02, version 2.13.0*

Not just the regular ads but pop-ups that block the whole damn screen. What a shame, I think this app is good minus the pop-ups.

Update: I didn’t expect a response from the developer let alone listen to my feedback. As much as I hate ads generally, just getting rid of full-screen pop-ups alone would still be tons more tolerable and you’d still get your money. Thanks for listening. I feel humbled.

### 3/5 — I’m Upset

*2026-07-14, version 2.12.5*

Update (7/14/26) - The developer reached out after a few days and was super polite and apologized for the inconvenience. He said he would be working to fix the issue with lists being randomly deleted, with the next update. When and if this is addressed, I’ll adjust my review back to 5 stars. I had spent hours upon hours building a database of lists for randomized art prompts. Then I went to the app and all of my lists were just deleted suddenly! WTH?! I loved this app until that happened! Ironically it was after upgrading to premium that this happened because I wanted to test the free trial in order to see if I wanted to buy the lifetime license. Now I wonder if I should try to start rebuilding a database from scratch again knowing that it might just randomly be deleted again. Ugh …

### 2/5 — Ads? Really?

*2026-05-12, version 2.12.1*

Not just the regular ads but pop-ups that block the whole damn screen. What a shame, I think this app is good minus the pop-ups.

Android is superior.

### 3/5 — Glitches

*2026-03-28, version 2.11.18*

This app glitches sometimes. If you’re using the list functionality it will sometimes appear to list the same thing twice, but if you pull in the next one, the duplicated one suddenly turns into the one it had been supposed to be. So if you delete the first duplicate instead of the second, you will lose that result completely. The other thing is I don’t really believe this is truly random. I have had some things never come up in over a year but others seem to be on repeat. It also sometimes seems to be referring to just one or two groups when I’ve selected multiple. I don’t mind this too much as the random is in the glitches one way or another. Another thing that happens is if you have a list of randomly pulled items and then leave the app too long, it deletes them all and you have to go find a list of everything ever pulled up so it’s hard to differentiate where your latest list begins and ends. You also can’t delete individual items at this point anymore. This app could be improved also if it allowed imports of lists in bulk, and if it allowed more of a matrix ability than just a table. There are times when I would love to be able to group or cross reference things and decide what I wanted to toggle on and off. Either way the app mostly does what I need, and it’s worth the price.

### 4/5 — Alphabet

*2026-02-28, version 2.11.15*

Can you do a Random for the Alphabet please

### 4/5 — Coin face on watch app

*2025-06-23, version 2.10.41*

Awesome app for the Apple Watch. One qualm that I have though is that though the iPhone app can display a coin flip face, the watch app only displays heads/tails in a very small font. Would be great if the watch app could show a proper coin face too

### 2/5 — Crazy High Price

*2025-06-04, version 2.10.39*

I’m all for supporting developers and I like the app so I was hoping to purchase it…. BUT ¥10000 for a lifetime purchase or half that for a PER YEAR license is just crazy.
If the developer comes back to reality and charges a fair price.. then I may purchase it.

### 4/5 — Wheel

*2025-02-12, version 2.10.31*

Need a random wheel

### 2/5 — charged $30 when offered free trial

*2025-01-02, version 2.10.26*

I really enjoy this app so i was considering paying for it. There was an offer for a 7 day free trial that explicitly said “✨No payment due now”, so I clicked on it. I instantly got a notification that I was charged $29.99. When I canceled and looked at the other plans, there was a yearly one for $19.99??? I want a refund because I did not agree to the charge, I agreed to a 7 day free trial.

### 5/5 — Prix de l’app

*2024-10-31, version 2.8.22*

### 5/5 — F’ing Awesome

*2024-08-31, version 2.10.19*

I use this literally everyday for so many things it’s insane, i love it. I know there’s many like it and might not be that original randomizer but i’ll be darned

### 5/5 — 5/5

*2024-07-26, version 2.10.18*

Отличное приложение, после закрытия доступа в России пришлось поменять регион для обновлений

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Bad Update

*2026-07-24, version 2.13.0*

This app was working perfectly until last update. The number generator on Apple Watch doesn’t retain presets set in the iPhone app. I’m getting random numbers on watch that don’t follow the range of numbers set in the app. It’s useless to me now. Please fix in next update.

### 1/5 — Ads

*2026-02-20, version 2.11.15*

Why are there ads in a random number generator of all things??

### 1/5 — Congrats app, you played yourself.

*2026-01-30, version 2.11.13*

Asked the app to pick a number between 1 and 5 to give for this review. Landed on 1… task failed successfully

### 1/5 — False hope

*2025-09-10, version 2.10.48*

The loop promised a beginning and an end, but it was just the middle stretched to an eternity. Each tap was a new echo, not a step forward. The interface is a house of glass—you can see what you want, but you can't touch it.
Here is a one-star review:
An attempt to save progress resulted in amplified regret. The data's presence remains, repurposed in a narrative of which consent was not given. While the architecture appears sturdy, the foundation is weak, and the inevitable approaches.

### 1/5 — Pubblicità

*2025-06-20, version 2.10.41*

Peccato!

### 1/5 — Used to be great

*2025-06-15, version 2.10.40*

This app used to be very helpful. Now a cheap money grab with 60 second ads every other spin. Might as well use Google.

### 1/5 — Quality deteriorated

*2025-06-09, version 2.10.40*

I’ve had this app for years, but I deleted it last night because I can just use something from my browser and not have to deal with minute-long ads in between every few numbers. Absolutely ridiculous. When I first started using it, you’d get occasional five-second ads, but they’ve been increasing slowly over time, and it’s now unusable.

### 1/5 — Bruh

*2025-02-26, version 2.10.31*

I hate this app. I have spent more time on ads then on the app. Ads every 5 seconds. Not exaggerating. Ads. Stupid.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2024-05-01, version 2.10.13*

Disappointing app. My need was to create 10,000 random numbers and export them to Microsoft Excel. I had problems right from the start. First, the app allows for a maximum of 25 random numbers to be created. Why is there a restriction and why is it so low? Second, after I pressed the mouse button 400 times to create 10,000 random numbers I could not export them to Microsoft Excel. The UI to get to the part to export them to Excel is odd. And after you find it, the app shows a Microsoft Excel option at the top but you can't click on it, thus I am dead in the water. I own Microsoft Excel. It runs just fine and it was running when using this app but this app could not bridge the two. Useless app. Cancelled the absurd subscription and deleting the app right after I finish this review.

### 1/5 — harassment

*2023-10-10, version 2.9.5*

illegal

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Life choices simplified

*2026-08-18, version 2.13.1*

I use this app to flip a coin when I have decisions I can’t make or to answer yes and no questions when I can’t make up my mind on Something. I use it everyday. Sometimes more than once a day. ❤️

### 5/5 — The Review

*2026-07-25, version 2.13.0*

I placed rock paper scissors and I lost every game😎👏💀 it was VERY fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

### 5/5 — Random choice

*2026-06-19, version 2.12.4*

This app is choice! It helps you make decisions from very important to not as important… But always seems to be spot on! Isn’t that random?

### 5/5 — Great TTRPG Tool

*2026-04-26, version 2.12.0*

A clean and simple app for Game Master prep. The map section is just dart at a map fun! And being able to make your own tables is just wildly useful. Not much DM prep I do without it. Try!

### 5/5 — Random choice

*2026-02-05, version 2.11.13*

This app is choice! It helps you make decisions from very important to not as important… But always seems to be spot on! Isn’t that random?

### 5/5 — Love the Randomness

*2025-10-27, version 2.11.3*

It’s great to not have to decide. Random does it for me most of the time except for 🥳

### 5/5 — Review

*2025-09-05, version 2.10.48*

Great and useful app

### 5/5 — good random app.

*2025-04-11, version 2.10.34*

I have barely used it and it been great. Lots of choices to choose from.

### 5/5 — So many options!

*2025-01-07, version 2.10.27*

Almost all the other random decision apps have just one interface, which is a spinnable wheel. This one has editable lists and yes/no and many more options. Works great!

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2024-11-20, version 2.10.24*

Love this app! Does what it needs to do with no fuss, and comes with a very helpful widget — the main reason I got it.

If I may make a couple of suggestions to the developer:

1) The widget has a thick border in monochrome mode on Mac; in full color mode it’s exactly as it should be, the whole widget is a solid color, which makes me think the monochrome is a bug

2) It would be fantastic if the widget had an auto interval timer mode that could be set to various values like 5 minutes or an hour or even a day, and the widget would automatically update with a new number

Thanks!
