Sometimes for exercise and other times for taking a break or overcoming procrastination. It has a simple user interface and works even when the phone goes to sleep. I have a discontinued board game that relies on a random countdown timer, which eventually broke, but this app serves the purpose perfectly. I want to be generous and assume this is some sort of background coding mistake, but there have unfortunately been cases where apps might use background CPU for something ridiculous like Bitcoin mining- so I’d like to see this resolved ASAP. Bit sneaky as they should have listed it with a purchase price. ### 4/5 — ? For developer *2025-04-11* I paid for the full version and for periods of time it works period. The first problem is at seemingly random times the counter freezes. If you bring up the app it immediately continues the timer. Another issue is ideally when the counter finishes the loop I want it to make a sound on my iPhone or headphone and display a notification on my Iwatch. This sometimes works for 10 minutes or less then at least one of the notification methods stop(e.g. stops playing the sound,freezes or stops notifying iwatch. I have tried every random timer I could find but yours comes closest to my requirements. I know some of the issues are simply caused by limitations in the iPhone or iwatch. There are definitely problems after hanging up from a phone call. Andrew Huberman said that! like you start timer for 2mins and then you have to do nothing like IDLE mode for only 10sec. close or open eyes doesn’t matter. when you do this, your body can learn and focus x10 or even x20 times faster and better! do this randomly about 1-6mins. also under 2mins it’s free and It get our job done. but you can pay 8$ for lifetime and I think it’s totally worth it!
