## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Feedback

*2025-04-19, version 1.0*

Only runs in minutes. For games we need random time in seconds. Also needs an auto reset so that it beeps and resets and continues

### 1/5 — Ads?

*2021-04-18, version 1.0*

Come on! Ads for such a basic app
There isn’t even an option to use seconds, minutes only
Uninstalled

### 1/5 — Not helpful

*2019-01-18, version 1.0*

Won’t run in the background. If the timer sets for 4 hours then you can’t use your phone for 4 hours.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2018-08-12, version 1.0*

Didn’t make any sound. And timer stopped when my screen went dark. Lame.

### 1/5 — Too many ads

*2017-08-19, version 1.0*

Would be better if there was an option for no ads. Otherwise it's pretty bare bones basic.

### 2/5 — Terrible ux

*2020-07-07*

Can’t see what you’re entering in the upper limit box on iPhone X but the worst thing is that starting the timer hijacks your phone to play video adverts WITH AUDIO. Deleted immediately.

### 2/5 — Needs seconds

*2019-02-06, version 1.0*

Can only set minutes. 5 stars if I could set seconds too.

### 2/5 — Poor UI, limited feature set

*2017-11-29, version 1.0*

Even though the preview screen shows seconds, it doesn’t pick a random number of seconds, it only picks a random whole number of minutes. So if you pick minimum 1 and maximum 2 you get a timer set for either exactly 1 or exactly 2 minutes, which seems like an odd choice.

This app is ad-supported; some ads include full-screen interactivity and are quite annoying.

UI: When entering the “max” number, the keyboard blocks view of the number field. Poor use of space - fonts are small and ugly.

This app might work for some, but for my needs (a series of random alarms as short as 15 seconds apart) an app called “Party Game Timer” works better.

### 4/5 — Mostly good

*2025-01-10, version 1.0*

Yeah, there’s a decent job a randomizing the timer within the parameter set. All I needed was minutes so that’s perfectly fine. Note to be alerted when timer expires, you must have audio notifications enabled.

### 4/5 — Fun cool app

*2022-02-24, version 1.0*

This is pretty cool I like the background and that I can shake it to turn it off and off

Just wish I can buy a ad free version

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 4/5 — Cheerful and Super Easy

*2022-01-17, version 1.0*

I like the colorful background. I loved how very easy the timer is to use! The ads were small and not in my way so I didn’t mind them, especially as this app was free. The only reason I took off one star is because what I’m looking for is a random timer that has an option to hide the chosen time from me. I want to be surprised when the timer goes off. If this app had that, it would be perfect. And then if I could pay a few dollars on a one time fee to eliminate the ads, I would do that, too.

### 4/5 — Good timer, but It doesn’t store my parameters, always default 1-60 after reloading.

Please add ability to change / set my preferred settings.
