(Seaside second edition and plunder) but it’s great if it has your expansions. ### 4/5 — Champion *2022-09-27, version 5.6.1* This is a great app! Can’t wait for the Seaside Second Edition cards to be added. I think that it could be improved a little by allowing requirements for certain types of cards, like village type + multiple actions card or at least one card that draws multiple cards or at least one way to get extra buys… ### 4/5 — Great app, I use it all the time but Alchemy... *2019-01-29, version 5.0.4* Would be 5 stars however the “Alchemy Picking” setting does not seem to make any difference in the sets generated and does not ensure there are 3-5 Alchemy cards or 0 Alchemy cards. My understanding of how this should work is that it picks 3 or more alchemy cards, or none, as is stated in the rules suggestions. For those that have been playing Dominion for many years, having both editions of the base game and Intrigue is common, as is the practice of adding the second edition cards rather than replacing the first edition versions. ### 5/5 — The Best Dominion Randomizer! *2017-11-21, version 4.4.1* I’ve downloaded every Dominion randomizer I could find, and this is the best. My wife and I play all the time using this, and it’s updated and we love it! I even got some promo cards as a bonus when I bought an expansion and lo and behold, even those are in there! I’d really like iPhone X support, but I mean, it doesn’t really matter other than purely aesthetic reasons. ### 5/5 — Great design!!! *2017-08-22, version 4.4.1* This app is a must have for dominion players, especially so when you have multiple expansions. It's easy to use and offer features such as blacklisting a card that no one like to play. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t save your favorites *2021-03-01, version 5.5.0* I loved this app because you could at one point build a favorite, and make more hand pick em, randomize em, but now it doesn’t even save my favorites, so I have to either remember what I wrote, or write it down, and the randomizer is useless because I can just shuffle my randomizer cards and use them, they came with the set to do that, I hope they fix this otherwise it’s literally pointless. Very dissatisfied ### 1/5 — Nocturne expansion missing?? *2018-05-25, version 4.4.1* Please add it ..... ### 1/5 — Gremlins *2012-11-04, version 2.0* There is an announcement that there are gremlins in the data every time you open it. Makes me not trust this program so will not be using it. ### 1/5 — Needs work; too hard to use at this time *2012-05-24, version 1.1* This app may get good in time but it needs serious work. Although the Black Market has not been selected, the app won't generate a random set because I haven't selected enough cards for the Black Market even though it wasn't selected. It also is difficult to just generate a random set of cards. The concept of black listing certain cards is good in theory but it just doesn't work. There are many good randomizer apps but this isn't one of them. Avoid until the bugs are worked out. ### 2/5 — Missing newest expansions *2024-03-28, version 5.6.1* This used to be my go-to for setting up games but it’s been over a year and no sign of the newest expansions. I’ve had to switch apps. If the expansions are updated (including the upcoming one), I’ll be able to return and revise my rating to a 4 or 5-star (as it’s not been kept up to date, that may keep it from the best rating, decision pending speed of update) ### 2/5 — Needs updating *2023-01-02, version 5.6.1* This is the best app for randomizing Dominion games, but unfortunately they are not updating the card lists when new sets come out. I would gladly give it five stars and give another large tip if they would simply keep the list up to date or allow for home made sets so that we could do it ourselves. ### 2/5 — Delay in expansion updates *2020-06-14, version 5.3.1* The issue with this app is the fact that when a new expansion is released it often takes months for the app to be updated. Menagerie is a perfect example. I don’t see Nocturne included. 5 Stars for update. 👍🏻 ### 3/5 — There are a couple problems *2018-03-13, version 4.4.1* Farmers market isn’t a treasure, Sauna/avanto isn’t getting randomly picked, and Dismantle isn’t available at all. Furthermore The blacklist doesn’t seem to work on events It’s not at all clear what “house rules” get unlocked with an in app purchase. Nocturne also hasn’t been added. The interface is great though. A hidden gem *2024-03-03, version 5.6.1* I love this app for randomizing dominion games. There are so many nice features, such as including reactions when attack cards are in your kingdom, custom black market deck sizes, changing if there is more or less attack cards, increasing or decreasing how many supply piles are in your kingdom. My favorite feature is favoriting your random games for future use. Select what expansions you have and want to use and hit randomize. If cards are selected you don’t want to use, just swipe them away and they are immediately replaced with something else. It will also tell you what to include in the supply based on the number of players. There are a couple of things I’ve noticed however. When Young Witch is included in a kingdom set, there isn’t a bane card selected as well (I decided to just remove the young witch and whatever replaced it until I got a card that cost 2 or 3, which worked but is a clunky solution). Under options there is a spot for Bane Cards but it doesn’t seem to do anything - potentially bugged? I wish the supply tab would tell you when you need to include madman, spoils or other non supply cards. My only other note is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to edit saved favorite games outside of deleting a favorite set and creating a new one from scratch. Those few things notwithstanding, I really do love the functionality and ease of use of this app. ### 5/5 — The Perfect Companion *2019-09-25, version 5.1.3* If you play Dominion, this app is a must. It’s especially helpful if you’re playing with multiple expansions.
