Enjoy Rangard. ### 1/5 — Disappointing Updates *2026-01-11* The last 2 updates made the game only better for the Devs and not people, Orphanage update was a p2w update now nerfing mining (the only way to compete against p2w) is out of the window. Very disappointing thought this game would be different. Edit: I will change it back to 5 stars when the devs give us a good update, this game doesn’t deserve a low rating cause it has lot of potential. 2nd edit: i gave up. Game is greedy devs plays favoritism. Micro transactions only way to compete. Your input helps us improve Rangard. ### 1/5 — Hello? Devs? *2025-12-28* Devs dropped a mostly unfinished p2w game and then have gone near radio-silent for months. Not sure what other rating would be appropriate aside from 1 star **Developer response:** Rangard is actively developed and growing fast. Just 12 hours ago, we released a major update including Group Dungeons (real-time multiplayer) and many other improvements. Next up: Guild Raid. We're pushing updates constantly. Rangard is one of the most F2P-friendly games. You can obtain everything, including premium membership and premium currency, without spending real money. We're committed to making Rangard better every day. ### 1/5 — Don’t join their discord *2025-12-10* Seen a few players make jokes or comments in discord that translates into both a discord and in-game ban lol. I’ve heard of a toxic community but not a toxic dev team. Aside from that, the game is meh and no different than any other “idle” game on the market. **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We’re genuinely sorry that you feel this way. Please come back at a later stage and check out the new updates! ### 1/5 — The dev is now banning people from the discord for small criticisms. STAY FAR AWAY from this game. *2025-12-06* Overly emotional dev can’t take valid criticism and is now banning players for stating their opinions of the horrible updates the game is getting. The dev did this same song and dance with their other game and looks like they brought that same toxic mentality to this new game. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and hope future updates can change your experience for the better. ### 2/5 — Great game for the community but the actual game itself is lacking and not well thought out. *2025-11-23* Game has a lot to like if you’re an idle game enjoyer. The community is great and friendly. The game itself was sadly rushed to market though. The professions system is completely out of wack and in the mid levels quickly falls apart. Hopefully the dev does a rework and quickly. The player market is also extremely bad. All items have a tax to trade at 16% for f2p players and 12% for paying players. The community recently asked for a gem conversion NPC and somehow the devs turned that into a slight p2w trade in mechanic that gave spenders a certain amount of free energy a day for trading in trash items. I think the game has a lot of potential but currently is just not in a good state. If it wasn’t for the community I wouldn’t even bother. I do hope the devs can fix a lot of the community issues so I’ll stick around for a while longer. ### 3/5 — Discord *2026-05-30* They need to bring back the discord, but they deleted it because they got tired of deleting messages from complaining players. the in game chat is not effective for player base to communicate, and there are many problems to fix **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. The Discord server is maintained as an archive, while active communication and support take place within Rangard. ### 3/5 — Hat Potenzial, für mich war aber nach wenigen Tagen Schluss *2025-11-23* Solides Idle-Spiel mit netten Ansätzen, aber kaum MMO-Feeling, stark sololastig und auf Dauer ohne Zahlung wenig motivierend. Ideal für Casual-Spieler, aber nichts für Genre-Fans, die echtes MMORPG-Flair suchen. Für mich war nach nur 4 Tagen Schluss, macht euch aber am besten ein eigenes Bild davon 👋🏼 Evtl. Würde sich doch ein gruppensystem anbieten, falls mehrere Leute das selbe machen , z.B. Mining werden dadurch die Zeiten noch weiter reduziert.👋🏼 **Developer response:** Update: Gruppen-Dungeons wurden mit dem gestrigen Update hinzugefügt. Unser ganzes Team arbeitet tagtäglich, um Rangard zu verbessern. In zwei Tagen kommt das nächste Update. Und, du liegst richtig. Es gibt später mehr Multiplayer Modi. ### 4/5 — Above average total Idle *2025-12-07* The game isn’t bad if you’re looking for a total idle experience. The devs seem very engaged and eager to see the game grow. Worst gear upgrade system I have ever played. High level upgrading destroys the gear unless you buy a premium item each attempt and even then if you fail you go down a level. It’s definitely in the early stages but has plenty of time to grow and develop. My main issue is the membership. I think it should move to a monthly subscription system instead of the micro transactions for time. Also, would be nice to have more characters on 1 account.
