## What is Range Prep?

Range Prep keeps you from ever showing up to the range without something you need.

Build reusable checklists for every kind of shooting activity — training sessions, competitions, or hunting trips — and breeze through prep before you leave home.

WHY RANGE PREP
Preparing your gear from memory means it's easy to forget ammunition, magazines, hearing protection, targets, or paperwork. One missing item can ruin an otherwise great trip. Range Prep replaces "did I forget something?" with a checklist you actually trust.

REUSABLE TEMPLATES
Start from five built-in templates — Pistol Training, Rifle Training, IPSC Competition, IDPA Competition, and Hunting — or clone and customize your own. Each built-in template breaks gear down into specific items with sensible default quantities (magazines, ammunition, pouches), so IPSC and IDPA loadouts, for example, aren't just generic lists — they
reflect what each discipline actually requires. Free users get up to three custom templates; Premium unlocks unlimited templates.

SMART CHECKLISTS
Check items off, set whole-number quantities and units, add notes, and group everything by category so nothing gets left behind.

ACTIVITIES & CALENDAR
Plan an activity with a date, location, and type, create a calendar event for it in one tap, and jump straight back to its checklist from the calendar. Move completed activities to the archive and restore them anytime.

WORKS OFFLINE
No account, no sign-up. Everything is stored locally on your device — your data is yours.

• The link in a calendar event now opens the activity in Range Prep. Before, it was plain text you couldn't tap.
• The event also carries a link to install Range Prep, for anyone who opens it on a device without the app.
• Adding an activity to the calendar now asks first, and explains that each time creates a new, separate event: an earlier one has to be deleted by hand, and later changes to the activity won't reach it.
• Address search works again. It was returning nothing at all, and the failure looked like "no results" — now it reports an error you can retry.
• Save and Cancel no longer hide under the navigation bar.
• Item names and notes start with a capital letter.
• Template items show their category.
• Categories are chosen from a list on activities too.
• Activity date and location can now be removed once set.
• A calendar link opens the activity once, not twice, on first launch.
• Cloning a template no longer produces an awkward name.
• A quantity unit without a quantity is now rejected with an explanation.
