## Most critical reviews (9 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY THIS

*2022-02-20, version 3.0*

Ok, so I’m really concerned about my mental state, so I’m just cheking for possible diagnoses. I decided to download this, and opened up the quiz. It asked me TWO QUESTIONS and then said “Oh, based on your answers you have OCD.”
GUYS. WHY?!
Whoever made this knows NOTHING about mental health whatsoever. This is a waste of time.

### 1/5 — eh..

*2021-12-22, version 3.0*

It takes ~2 questions for it to come to a conclusion. The questions are basic and don’t go into depth.

### 1/5 — Stupid

*2015-05-09, version 2.1*

I'm a teenager, so of course in have mood swings. I answered yes to the question that asked about mood swings, and it tells me I have bipolar disorder. How stupid is that?!

### 1/5 — Rapid diagnosis

*2013-10-19, version 2.1*

Too simplistic. For adults only. Diagnosis based on 5 questions. Clinician would get more from the DSM. Could be misleading to the layperson.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2013-06-28, version 2.1*

This must be a joke.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2013-06-16, version 2.1*

This app is definitely a waste of money. There's no way this could have been developed by someone who knows anything about mental illness. If you answer "yes" to any question, even the very first question, it automatically diagnoses you with some mental illness. I would not purchase this.y

### 1/5 — In a hurry for the wrong diagnosis?

*2012-01-15, version 2.0*

Don't waste your time on this. The author is obviously not a psychologist or psychiatrist, and should either provide accurate decision trees or better yet, not publish the app at all. It goes without saying that I will not be using this app in my clinical psychology practice. Non-professional consumers and general practitioners should beware that the diagnoses made in the app are inaccurate and misleading.

### 1/5 — Waste of money!

*2011-03-07, version 1.0*

Do you have trouble sleeping? You have insomnia. Are you depressed? You have depressive disorder. Do you hear voices? You have schizophrenia. Do you enjoy throwing money away? Buy this app.

### 2/5 — Don't buy this!

*2012-03-11, version 2.0*

I thought you would be able to use this by entering symptoms and it coming up with a diagnosis but it just asks questions that any therapist would know the diagnosis to (such as depression or anxiety). However it does list disorders in the DSM that can be helpful to have to review criterion etc.
