Great software and tool but the app is horrible. ### 1/5 — App won’t open *2021-12-31* Every time I open the app it says Network Error. iPad is up to date with latest iOS and I deleted & redownloaded and same issue. Works on iPhone? ### 1/5 — Fix your app *2021-11-14* I’ve been trying to sign up for this Rapsodo App to get the results of a recent session and the app is not allowing me to sign up or sign in on the iPhone. After I get through all the questions and check the box for Terms and Conditions, I tap Sign Up and nothing happens. ### 1/5 — Spent All Day. App Doesn’t Work. *2021-10-09* After multiple different ways of trying to get the Diamond App working (nearly a whole day’s spent messing and babying the system), it still doesn’t work. Plus, even worse, the other Hitting app now does not work so I feel like I went backyards. Now, I can’t coach with Rapsodo this weekend, very frustrating! ### 1/5 — Tough Start *2021-01-24* As usual, Rapsodo releases something before it’s ready. App crashes and loses connection constantly. Players don’t update and player who were deleted months ago show up. Can’t search or sort players so building a multi person session takes forever. Yes I understand it’s the beta version but they don’t even want feedback on it. It has the potential to be awesome combining both apps into one and having the graphs and data from the session immediately available. But right now it’s almost unusable. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not supported by Rapsodo *2026-06-21* Rapsodo customer care team have confirmed via email that some features of this app such as Game Mode are no longer maintained by third party’s and are not functioning and with no support. This is concerning because the product is marketed to include GAME MODE but the app doesn’t allow it to work and Rapsodo staff know this and do nothing to support their paying customers. ### 1/5 — Pathetic *2025-05-06* This product is absolutely inferior to previous product they had and customer support can do nothing to help you. Just the interface itself is way worse and harder to see. The units themselves are worse. ### 1/5 — Horrible interface *2025-01-04* Looks like someone had their kid build this over a weekend. Interface is horrible. Field entry not compatible with Apple or windows field definitions. Most fields have to use scroll down without search helps. Some have them some don’t. Birthdate won’t allow a date to be keyed in. So you have to use their horrible pop up calendar that constantly resizes. Information has to reentered multiple times. Just a very clumsy design. Does a poor job of handling parent vs child account information until after the account is setup. Whoever their developer was (assuming it wasn’t a free volunteer) should be fired. ### 1/5 — Wait for them to fix the app - it’s *not* optional *2024-01-13* I’ve had Hitting 2.0 since it was web-based, back when it worked. Ever since they switched to app-only it’s been buggy, and at times unusable. I took a couple of months off hoping they would fix it, but it’s still unreliable. While you can see data web-based, you can *not* operate the device from the web, only the app. Right now I’m at the point of trying to determine if terms of service includes accepting the possibility the device doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — “Upgrade” fail *2023-09-21* Rapsodo deprecated the previous app about a month ago and it’s had quite an impact on my workouts. My favorite part is how sometimes it will work, I’ll review the reports and see something I want to work on, and then the new app will record none of my next session. If you’re looking for something to make you work harder because you have to do everything twice, this is the app for you. On a more serious note, I’m dumbfounded a razor-razorblade model like this would tinker with a perfectly working blade and come up with this. My subscription is up in a couple of months and, in a sign of more dysfunction, they’ve apparently lost their records and can’t auto-charge subscribers. Which, works for me because I won’t continue the service with this new app. ### 1/5 — App Won’t work *2023-07-25* Ever since they announce they are going to delete the other version of this app that doesn’t require the 1.5k year subscription, this app stops working. So now having to use bad version of the app while paying 1.5k yearly because this app takes a minute to load the first swing and then doesn’t work after that every time. No matter if app is synced, deleted, reinstalled, or anything. Won’t work ### 1/5 — Horrible *2022-09-02* Every time we use it there is some type of glitch. Reboot,refresh,reload… it gets old. Hopefully the update solves some of connectivity difficulties. I appreciate you guys for allowing it for ios! ### 5/5 — Awesome 3D and Slow Mo video for Swing Analysis *2022-03-03* I bought the home version of Rapsodo for my 12 and twin 9 yr old boys. The 3D visualization of field and the cut to video slow motion of swing was simply amazing. Boys constantly hitting and reviewing themselves in “instant reply” be fore next pitch. Software does it automatically once you start a session and links with the data for the swing. You can then go back and review mechanics of you best velocity, distance and launch angle. Home run derby is fun to let them compete a little. I use an IPad Pro screen mirroring to an Apple TV 4K and there are no issues with speed. Fantastic product. If you have a 14x20 area in a basement min you can setup a great fun environment to work on mechanics at home. ### 5/5 — Lots of improvements *2021-06-13* I’m happy with the improvements and bug fixes to this app. I still predominantly use Pitching 2.0 but this is getting there fast, especially since fixing the 3D Flight visual. Good job! One recommendation: When I choose Spin Visualization, I’d like the option to cancel it instead of being stuck in “Processing…” Also, if I don’t have the proper subscription to use Spin Visualization, I’d like a pop up to notify me with an option to upgrade perhaps. Keep it going! ### 5/5 — Beta but awesome *2021-02-02* Saw another review saying it’s junk and that’s not true. The UI is way better, I have run into a couple of bugs but the Rapsodo support team has been very helpful, and very clear about where this is at in development. Use the hitting or pitching apps if you need it to be bulletproof, otherwise you can have fun with the new features and be part of the progress. ### 3/5 — ここ三日間セッションが更新されないです *2026-02-01* 使いやすいですが、たまにバグが起こります ### 2/5 — Tough onboarding clients *2026-02-14* The onboarding and invitation process is brutal especially with the parental consent that is now required for athletes under 18. This process could be much smoother but it requires way too many steps to get a kid ready to use it. I’ve had several instances where players were unable to be onboarded and we had to skip using the rapsodo altogether. WHEN it does work and such the insights are great and seemingly very accurate. The video component is nice but could be less zoomed in so it didn’t require the iPad to be put in an adjacent cage to get side view for pitching. I wish the onboarding was the same as the 2.0 where players were added and available without having to accept etc and if They wanted the insights they could sign up and accept an invitation and get parental consent all the while we are able to Get training and team data on them. ### 2/5 — Email bad *2025-05-14* I made an account and used my email and said som went wrong ### 2/5 — Frustrating *2023-07-20* It might be the machine but I’m constantly kicked off of the connection. If you have Rapsodo, contact them to figure these issues out with the app and connection.
