### 1/5 — Still Not Working

*2025-03-20, version 5.2.2*

It has been many months since my districts started using this app. The problems continue. The reviewer who said the complaints were due to lack of training were absolutely incorrect. We’ve been through multiple trainings now. But we still can’t get campuses which don’t apply to us removed. We’re still scaring the socks off anyone unlucky enough to be around us when alerts go off, and even with training, the app is cumbersome to use. It’s hard to find rosters. I did figure out how to turn off the obnoxious noise that signals an alert and to remove the app from my phone. I suppose I simply have to hope I don’t need access to it because having 6 campuses associated with my phone number is not worth the frequent disruption.

### 1/5 — Slow, not user friendly.

*2025-01-31, version 5.2.1*

This is a terrible app. If I had to use this in an actual emergency I would probably die in the emergency.

### 1/5 — Too many notifications and texts. Can’t remove my phone number.

*2025-01-17, version 5.2.1*

I signed up for an account when my district purchased this service and associated my account with my personal phone number when I signed up. Somehow my account got associated with two schools - one of which I work at. No one can figure out how to remove the second school. When one school initiates a drill the app notifications produce loud noises and the service blows up my phone with texts. They all disrupt my class - especially when the alerts are not for my school. I’ve tried to remove my personal phone number from my account but there is no way to do so. I can’t imagine these notifications and alerts would be safe if there was a real emergency. I don’t recommend this service as their tech support seems unresponsive and definitely don’t recommend installing the app on your personal device if your district subscribes to this service.

### 1/5 — Hate it

*2024-08-13, version 4.2.0*

I hate this app. It doesn’t always alert or work. The old app we had before was better but as a whole being expected to use our personal phones and being demanded to download an app is wild to me. There should be a better way. Not everyone has their phone with them at all times. Maybe require we have it on a school device like iPad etc. There are many flaws with the app as well.

### 1/5 — Can’t stop getting freaking alerts!

*2024-08-12, version 4.2.0*

I have taken the app off my phone and that should be enough to stop alerts! but NOPE! because I am no longer in the school system that uses the app, I can’t login which means I can’t remove my number from getting alerts which have been going off all day today! Please get me outta here!

### 1/5 — No alerts

*2024-06-19, version 4.1.2*

I don’t get alerts. I get a text and an email but no notifications. If I’m busy teaching I am not checking my texts or emails.

### 1/5 — Not intuitive

*2024-01-10, version 4.1.0*

Use this for my school. App is not intuitive or quick. Takes at least 10 button clicks before we can even get to my roster to start calling role to see who is here or not. Which takes FOREVER. When seconds could be the difference between life and death, this app wastes TONS of time. Whoever created this clearly has no understanding of UI or who their clientele is. I wouldn’t use this app ever, but unfortunately I’m forced to. So if you have a choice DON’T!

### 1/5 — Won’t let me log in!!

*2023-10-28, version 4.0*

I spent a hour trying to log in and I still can’t get in

### 1/5 — Flawed

*2023-08-29, version 3.9*

Was required to get this by my district. Most people on my campus have been tied to another school and the support has no way to remove us from being tied to a school we don’t teach at. So we regularly get loud and disruptive alerts for a building we are not in, even if it is a drill

### 1/5 — Another way to liberate education $ from education

*2023-08-04, version 3.9*

I am sure this makes someone feel good but it is more flawed than useful. Schools are spending dollars on shiny things rather than meaningful real measures. This is might be why government education costs so much and gives so little in return.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work.

*2022-12-12, version 3.8.2*

Will not let me login. Was required to get this through my district. I feel soooooo safe to sign up for a system that I can’t even login. Fix your product before putting it out. I’ve tried multiple times. 🙄

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I’m sorry

*2026-08-10, version 6.1.0*

To whoever has to use this thing. I’m sorry. Our district requires it and the only reason it exists is to cya for lawsuits. The roster system is poorly designed (if you have an unpredictable roster you’re screwed and I hope your signal and typing skills are both good) the UI is bulky, the return on questions by raptor is bad. This thing gets beaten by a paper roster at 1/1000th the cost. Obligatory one star review.

### 1/5 — Never works

*2026-08-07, version 6.1.0*

Extremely inconsistent. Doesn’t work for half of the faculty and staff half the time.

### 1/5 — Not Reliable

*2026-01-23, version 5.5.6*

Not a reliable or credible source for important information... which is what it was created for in the first place ...too cumbersome and laborious.

### 1/5 — Can not disable 2 factor

*2025-12-10, version 5.5.6*

Unacceptable that it must be 2 factor and connect to a personal phone number that districts do NOT pay for. ISD's need to pay their employees a $40. Stipend if need to use their personal phones

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2025-11-08, version 5.5.3*

I hope I never have to rely on this to notify me of an emergency. It has not once sounded the alarm on my phone on any of our drills. Yet, I am required, contractually, to use it.

### 1/5 — Do not get

*2025-09-15, version 5.5.2*

It won’t let me sign up

### 1/5 — Not discrete

*2025-08-28, version 5.5.1*

The sound of the alarm is so intense it sounds like a city wide b0mb alert. If there was a sh00ter in the school, they would hear everyone’s phones and let them know exactly where everyone is.

### 1/5 — No clue why my school paid for this

*2025-08-20, version 5.5.1*

Waste of money. It has never worked. Could be schools fault. But don’t care. Raptor should be training us on it.

### 1/5 — 👎🏼

*2025-08-20, version 5.5.1*

This app is cumbersome and not user-friendly or intuitive at all. In an emergency, I don’t foresee us getting much value at all from this platform. Many of us don’t even get an audible alert when we perform drills which is not at all confident-building in a real emergency. Our school tested an app before the district committed to this app and it was far and away superior to this one.

### 1/5 — The worst

*2025-08-18, version 5.5.0*

This app is terrible. Does not work. Can’t open the app. I gave up and deleted this lousy app

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great App with Proper Training

*2024-07-21, version 4.1.2*

This app works well as long as staff have appropriate training. Many of the low star reviews are training related and not an app problem.

### 5/5 — Every school should have Raptor!

*2023-03-20, version 3.8.2*

Amazing app to help schools better communicate with internal parties. 1

### 2/5 — Can’t use the top bar or settings

*2025-08-18, version 5.5.0*

While this is better than Navigate Prepared, the top bar for toggling between schools and also the settings button is not working at all, it’s just text that does nothing when tapped.

### 2/5 — Good Starting Point

*2025-03-04, version 5.2.2*

Needs a lot of work.

### 2/5 — So irritating

*2024-05-13*

I travel and am on multiple campuses which my organization loaded into my profile. Immediately, my phone was going off constantly with every drill or incident. Without removing the app from my phone, I could not keep the “foghorn” from going off. I couldn’t go to a conference or even to church without having to deal with it after scaring the pants off everyone sitting near me. I took the app off my phone.

### 2/5 — Tests going off all freakin day & nite!

*2021-10-27, version 3.3.0*

I was required to download this app by my school district. We are supposed to have a district wide test or at least a school test later this week. However, ever since I signed up, there have been test alerts going off constantly. It’s very annoying. I have to keep my phone on silence or else I get these blasting alerts wherever I am, like in a store or in the middle of the night.
