Not just for me but for my daughter as well as my family. I’m grateful for all the opportunities I have coming my way and not just for me but the communities around me and seen me fight for more throughout my struggles but have watched me comeback from everything I have been through with my daughter by my side. I truly hope that this continues to be an enlightening experience and journey . I thank God for the future and the rest of this year. I’m truly let to have this opportunity and I hope it’s extended to those who look like me and stand up and says something about their metal problems or disabilities- I fit the category of things that get misdiagnosed all the time but I’m proud to be an high functioning Autistic ADHD and OCD women. Especially with my family being from the Islands and Native descendants. In today’s society there are many examples have been set for me, I plan on being a light for little girls and boys who are like me and don’t look like it. I want the world to know that Autism Speaks. Everyone has a voice you just have to want to listen to what it can say. Thank you Rasmussen, This is dedicated to everyone who has been in my shoes and felt like they couldn’t achieve higher ground. Matthew 6:33 says “Seek ye the kingdom of God and all things shall be added on to you”. Somewhere in Psalms 27 it’s says “ For God is my light and salvation whom shall I fear” - my family is my light, my community is my beacon, my word is all I have so I plan on sticking to it. I have more than enough faith to achieve my goals and 5 year plan, all I need is the faith mustard seed and have you seen how tiny those things are. I’m have a great support system. My daughter wants to see me win. Along with my family and teachers who have guided me in this journey this far. The past is my present and mother is the future. I’m gonna take this day by day and set by step. Every chance I’m taking, every move I’m making. You gotta stay strong just keep holding on. There’s always gonna be another mountain, you’re always gonna want to make it move. In this song she says “Keep your faith” - so I plan on keeping my faith and reading my word daily. So far I believe it is one of the best I’ve attended. I think with all the resources provided and how interactive everything is, this is the school for me! When it does stay one, it does not show class schedule in the tab even after logging in. You also need to log in multiple times on different screens if you’re trying to view your grades, account info, etc. The app needs a lot of work to be functional. ### 1/5 — No access *2021-05-16, version 2021.03.1560* Ever since the latest update nothing is accessible. Every time I try to see my grades it makes me log in then takes me back to the courses page instead of toy grades. Can't see the modules or my grades or anything else. Please fix this issue. I was prompted to add courses and events to my calendar. Is should not have to do that. The app is advertised with more features than are available. This app doesn’t even allow you to make a discussion post or view discussions or grades for that matter. Needs a great ton of work to even be remotely useful to the average student at Rasmussen College. But the app is something I’ve been requesting as a student at this college for years. Very disappointing and annoying ### 2/5 — Helpful & convenient but there’s a but *2019-09-13* As the title says this is a great app for any Rasmussen student & is highly recommended that all students download! BUT it has its serious annoyances & problems. First, I receive notifications for replies to discussion posts that have nothing to do with me. As it can be helpful to know when my peers have submitted something I’d rather be notified when it is ONLY a reply to my own initial post or a reply to a post I have replied to. It is not the case here & is very annoying. Second, the app is very boring & all of the above notifications have longer confusing titles than message content. It feel too robotic & messy if you ask me with no way to refuse to see these type of notifications. Third & finally, I think implementing a reoccurring schedule due date would be helpful. More so than having to create a due date every single week for something like discussion & weekly assignments. We all know they are due the same days each week but with no option to set something to reoccur each week is another annoyance. For what it’s worth (free) the app is almost essential for any Rasmussen student but it’s features, notifications & scheduling are annoying, Incomplete, & sometimes more confusing than helpful. I’ll be honest it doesn’t feel like this was thought through or tested enough before officially releasing.
