I was under the impression that I was dealing with the usual run of the mill rodent based platform game. I have often seen hostility between rats and birds but the motif is highlighted perfectly. As soon as you pick up the game you can't help but notice the anti-rat agenda of the those birds, they really do want to just get in the way of the rats advances throughout the semi-aquatic environment. Any true Ratter will know that this rivalry is pivotal to the storyline. The rivalry between mobile rodents and the birds almost seems to distract away from the other tasks that are asked of the rat as he rides his jetski. These include collecting stars-cheesepizza-balloons. This hasn't for me been a great feature in the game as it doesn't represent any known behaviour currently exhibited by the species of rat shown in the game. (I will happily hold my hands up and apologise of this is actually a false accusation, evidence will be needed). I question also the rats destination. I have played the game for a long time without ever coming to an arrival scenario. I often wonder if he knows where he is going? Like my vintage fans, it reminds me of other childhood things I saw when I was little. It reminds me of when I played Memory Motors on a black computer in the office when I was younger. It also makes me laugh because it reminds me of using a car as a speed-up guide by following it by gravity.
