Well, I think it’s going to be great, but I wouldn’t know because when I try to make an account it keeps giving me “failed to send verification code” so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Love this app, my only issue is some of the customization. For instance, I’d like to reorder “Loved Albums” or “Loved Songs”. The app is also a little slow, but that comes with apps that have thousands of items stored. That’s really my only complaint.

Quite fun except for the fact that half the time the app is broken and won't load no matter what. You could go to click a song and nothing happens. Besides that, and the fact not all albums are available to be rated. (You can search any album, but it'll delete reviews for some! Especially deluxes versions!) This app is okay.

On the album versions thing, you're right that ratings can get lost when labels update albums (standard vs deluxe). That's on my list to solve. This app is incredible im genuinely shocked at how user friendly it is.There are a few nice additions i thought of tho like profile banners, being able to rate artists/ making lists of artists, and add soundcloud as an option to import music.Other than that its perfect very innovative and easy to get used to the ability to rate a song while listening is really nice as well i needed this app😭

Wavelength nails something most music apps miss, which is making reviewing and discovery feel both lightweight and human. The Live Activity is that pops up while you’re listening is useful without being invasive. Being able to rate what you’re listening to in real time without opening Spotify is a game changer. Recommendations feel noticeably better than Spotify’s because they come from real people, not just algorithms. You discover music through friends’ ratings and thoughtful takes, which makes everything feel more intentional and culturally relevant. The app is incredibly well built (feels like something built by Apple but fun), and clearly designed by people who care deeply about music.

Lyrics

Save the lines you love. The lyrics you keep now sit on your profile as cards in the album’s own colors, marked with where the line falls in the song. Every song page shows its lyrics, and any line can be saved from there. A saved lyric shares like any other post: a card in a message, a link, or an image for Instagram.

Messages

Typing indicators are real now: you can see when someone is writing to you, and Wavelength waits its turn, holding off while you type and picking up where you left off. Its replies arrive one message at a time.

Profiles

On a profile, a song or an album opens the record, and its score opens the review.

Fixes

Swiping back and the zoom into songs and albums are steadier throughout the app, the best-of charts follow the filter you picked, and shared images of songs and shelves include their covers.

Stats

Every profile now ends in a View stats button. Your rating history and your listening, side by side: distribution, ratings over time, average score, genres, decades and your most rated artists. Every ranked list opens in full with its own sorts, and every chart reads out under a finger.

Rating graphs

Hold a bar of any rating distribution to see who gave that score, or what got it. Tap one to open the ratings behind it.

Profiles

The header fades as you scroll instead of jumping, and verified accounts can add a bio and a link.

Filters

Filter any list down to the part you want, and filter an item’s opinions by sort, by words, or by score.

Icons

Alternate app icons follow your home screen into dark and tinted.
