this app and community reminds me of early social media before all the algorithms and AI slop ruined everything. Strangers with a shared common interest of sports making genuine connections through their unique perspectives and opinions. There’s nothing really novel here but it’s flawlessly executed and everyone seems to be bought in. Get in here, you won’t regret it!

I’ve always loved tracking what I do or enjoy, Letterboxd, last.fm, etc., and I’ve long-awaited a sports equivalent to track how many games I’ve watched or attended, and this scratches the itch! Sky’s the limit as more leagues and events get added.

I’m a huge letterbox’d user and I have been looking for something like it for sports (my first love) I’m very pleased to say that not only does RateGame fulfill that need it goes above and beyond just rating games. There’s challenges to partake in like the World Cup pick em challenge im currently in, there’s an awesome live chat that is fun to be a part of during games. There’s really cool achievements you can get and so much more like writing did you knows on sports and players and teams. I can go on! But perhaps the best thing about rate game is the fact that there is literally nooooo gambling slopppp anywhereeeee. The community doesn’t talk about it there’s no ads on it, I’m shocked at how RateGame has managed to maintain such a positive space considering how sports gambling has taken over sports. Grateful to have found this app and community and congrats to the team behind it. Big fan!

This app is amazing with a great community, and should definitely be more popular than it is. From being able to choose your favourite teams, to having live game chat where you can celebrate or cry with others, it makes the app experience so much better than other sports apps!

i never ever write reviews but this app and the fantastic people that run it, at the very least deserve a couple minutes for me to ramble about how great this thing that they got going is. 

if there was a way to exceed the five star rating limit they have, I would for this app and give it double. the layout is simple and very user friendly which allows you to find and access all of the features available on this app very easily. the community is very open and lightening, there is almost always people talking about any sport you could think of (because they have just about everything) and it’s a place where everyone feels allowed to share there own personal opinions/takes without being criticized. lastly i want to share how incredible the team is that makes this engine run. these people are actively in the community space and continuously LISTEN and make changes that make this apps experience better. always making each individual person feel noticed and welcomed as well right off the jump. 

there are many other things i could point out and say about how great this app is and why I believe it succeeds it’s competitors. but that’s not the point nor the goal of the people running this platform. there goal is creating a community and space where sports fanatics of any kind can get together and express there passion and love for the art of sport and they are succeeding in creating that space in every level.

I wish I would have found this sooner, but glad I did. Have always wanted a community of sports fans to talk with and an alternative for the crazy world of sports betting right now. Sports have gotten back to their essence of when I was a kid thanks to this, would recommend to anybody!

As an avid Letterboxd user I was always waiting for something like that for sports. It takes that original idea, but expands upon it in a creative way. I love the stadium and motm features. Something I’d love to see added is the ability to upload a photo (or more or a video) on a review; I feel like this would add more to the personalization especially when attending a game. I pray this doesn’t fall to the money-grabbing nature most apps fall to; adding new features under a subscription is fine, but please don’t make current features sub-only 🙏🙏
