Gives you options to rate and talk about any game of your choice. Needs a couple small improvements I hope it gets in time. One I think it really needs improvement on is the daily Streak system. It doesn’t make sense. I only add to my streak in I believe a 6 hour window. Like 6pm to midnight. Anywhere after or before it just doesn’t count for whatever reason. I just don’t get why it isn’t actually on the 24 hour day of posting a review. Another thing is I hope it gets more leagues. Like the NLL and PLL would be great. The AHL and ECHL for more hockey. The NLL and PLL are candidly a little ways away but we'll get there eventually! -Nick@rategame.io- ### 5/5 — Refreshing and Rewarding *2026-02-24* A complete cleanse for the dopamine and serotonin receptors, this app is analog in a way that feels more like OG twitter and less like a toxic algorithm trained to zap whatever’s left of your attention span with AI slop. Real sports fans are rating games with their real opinions in this community. Really. I feel more knowledgeable and less anxious every time I read some takes and rate some games. Great stuff. In practice, it’s SO much more. It’s you and countless others diving deeper into the sports teams and games you love. With the ability to chat with other fans, pick (and change) your favorite teams, and incentives such as a RateGame Score weekly score board, you’ll be coming to RateGame habitually. Has a good community in it. The developers are always adding more, and I’m glad I hopped on as early as I did. Hopefully will be using this for years to come. The UI is quite intuitive and clear. Pretty much never run across any bugs, and for a small development team like this, it’s pretty impressive. ### 5/5 — Most Underrated Sports App *2026-01-04* Not only can you rate games (which no other sports app has), but you can leave takes and talk to a small community dedicated to sports that leave real ratings and takes. You can also compete on leaderboards and complete achievements. It includes pretty much every major sport including college sports and women’s sports. It forces me to watch more analytically focused and my ball knowledge has greatly increased because of it. If you’re talking ball with people and find yourself making lame obvious statements like “that jokic sure keeps doing his thing huh” download RateGame and watch your ball knowledge increase. I’ve only been on the app for a year and have watched the app become more popular, smoother running, and more detailed. But over and over it says make an account. ### 2/5 — Barely Works *2024-08-08* When I try to navigate to the rate menu the screen goes black and I can’t use the app. This happens more often than not, stability is a major problem. **Developer response:** Really sorry this keeps happening. Are you able to update the latest release to 3.0? We just pushed this to production yesterday and the crashing issue and overall stability of the app has seen a dramatic improvement. Still pretty unfinished though. I just don't know what the point is. Sky’s the limit as more leagues and events get added. ### 5/5 — Finally a Letterbox’d for Sports with NO GAMBLING SLOP *2026-06-20* I’m a huge letterbox’d user and I have been looking for something like it for sports (my first love) I’m very pleased to say that not only does RateGame fulfill that need it goes above and beyond just rating games. There’s challenges to partake in like the World Cup pick em challenge im currently in, there’s an awesome live chat that is fun to be a part of during games. There’s really cool achievements you can get and so much more like writing did you knows on sports and players and teams. I can go on! But perhaps the best thing about rate game is the fact that there is literally nooooo gambling slopppp anywhereeeee. The community doesn’t talk about it there’s no ads on it, I’m shocked at how RateGame has managed to maintain such a positive space considering how sports gambling has taken over sports. Grateful to have found this app and community and congrats to the team behind it. From being able to choose your favourite teams, to having live game chat where you can celebrate or cry with others, it makes the app experience so much better than other sports apps! ### 5/5 — 👍 *2026-05-30, version 4.30* awesome app ### 5/5 — the next great interactive community sports app *2026-05-25* i never ever write reviews but this app and the fantastic people that run it, at the very least deserve a couple minutes for me to ramble about how great this thing that they got going is. if there was a way to exceed the five star rating limit they have, I would for this app and give it double. the layout is simple and very user friendly which allows you to find and access all of the features available on this app very easily. the community is very open and lightening, there is almost always people talking about any sport you could think of (because they have just about everything) and it’s a place where everyone feels allowed to share there own personal opinions/takes without being criticized. lastly i want to share how incredible the team is that makes this engine run. these people are actively in the community space and continuously LISTEN and make changes that make this apps experience better. always making each individual person feel noticed and welcomed as well right off the jump. there are many other things i could point out and say about how great this app is and why I believe it succeeds it’s competitors. but that’s not the point nor the goal of the people running this platform. there goal is creating a community and space where sports fanatics of any kind can get together and express there passion and love for the art of sport and they are succeeding in creating that space in every level. get ahead of the curve and experience it for yourself. 🦉❤️ **Developer response:** Kaden! Have always wanted a community of sports fans to talk with and an alternative for the crazy world of sports betting right now. It takes that original idea, but expands upon it in a creative way. I love the stadium and motm features. Something I’d love to see added is the ability to upload a photo (or more or a video) on a review; I feel like this would add more to the personalization especially when attending a game. I pray this doesn’t fall to the money-grabbing nature most apps fall to; adding new features under a subscription is fine, but please don’t make current features sub-only 🙏🙏 **Developer response:** Love this Rafiki!
