## What is RAUSSA?

Ultrasound detected synovitis is a powerful imaging tool used worldwide  that helps diagnose, monitor and treat patients with rheumatoid arthritis . RAUSSA application has been developed to help you score joint and tendon ultrasound grey scale and Doppler detected synovitis while performing your ultrasound examination.  RAUSSA is made-up of almost 400 images from patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Takes no more than 2 minutes to learn!  In every area you can look at a representative anatomic specimen image, up to 4 different US images with the same grey scale or Doppler mode score. , Dr. J. Uson MD PhD , Dr.  I. Möller MD PhD  and Dr. E. Naredo MD PhD,  experts in rheumatologic ultrasound have obtained the images in this app.

The ultrasound definitions and semi-quantitative scoring method used in this app. are those driven and reported by OMERACT (Outcome Measures in Rheumatology in Clinical Trials) validated for diagnoses and monitoring inflammatory activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (Bruyn GA, Naredo E, Iagnocco A. J Rheumatol 2015;42 (11):2172-6).
