## What is Rax Calc?

Rax Calc works out how much building material a job needs, waste included. Enter the measurements and you get the result, a material list and an explanation of how the number was calculated.

NINE CALCULATORS
• Lumber: studs, plates, headers, linear metres and cubic metres for a framed wall
• Concrete: cubic metres, litres and dry-mix bags
• Cable: the right cable for network, HDMI, USB and speakers, plus metres, boxes and connectors; includes T568A/B colour order and assembly guides
• Drywall: number of boards for standard or custom sizes
• Tiles: tiles, boxes, tile adhesive and grout
• Paint: litres and cans by number of coats
• Wallpaper: strips and rolls, including pattern repeat
• Flooring: parquet and laminate packs
• Decking: boards, joists, frame lumber and screws

PROJECTS
Save calculations to a named project, such as Sauna renovation. Rax Calc adds up one combined material list from every calculation in the project. Edit, duplicate and delete calculations and projects.

SHARE AND PRINT
Share the material list as text or a CSV file, or print it and save as PDF.

ALSO
• History: every calculation is saved and can be reopened
• Adjustable waste percentage and default waste
• Unit converter: mm, cm, m, inch, foot, m², ft², litre, gallon, kg, lb
• Dark and light theme, Finnish and English
• Works offline

PRIVACY
