This is the only app that I’ve found to be reliable and debit/credit card friendly in Managua. ### 4/5 — Great way to get around Managua! *2024-02-26* Great customer service and a safe and convenient way to get around Managua. I’ve used it multiple times and have no complaints with the drivers; however, I am giving 4 stars due to the following ways I think the app can improve: 1. Please make the app warn that there is a limit of C$1,000 Córdobas when the payment is card (otherwise it gets rejected **until** the ride is completed, which is very inconvenient when not carrying enough cash). 2. A feature to explicitly specify how many passengers are riding would prevent having to deal with last minute warnings through WhatsApp, as there is an apparent limit of 4 people per ride. However, when exceeding the limit, it is required to order two cars, which I was only able to workaround by scheduling ahead more than one or by messaging customer service through WhatsApp. While I appreciate the quick customer support through WhatsApp, the purpose of the app is to conveniently do that for you. 3. Editing the route or comments is basically not possible. At least once I had to cancel and re-order a trip due to a change, which is unfair to the driver who was originally assigned. 4. While I am unaware of how is this app developed, whether it is natively for iOS or Android or through frameworks, I did notice I significant lag on internet connection. There were times I had 3 bars, and somehow struggle to even open the app due to the apparent strong connection it requires. I am not sure how you are sending such data through the wire, but there’s always room for improvement when it comes to the approach you’re taking to solve a problem in software–i.e., are you sending just what you need? Or is it a bloated payload through the network that’s not letting me even open the app in certain connection settings? Overall, great experience with Ray.
