## What is RAYSTORM?

RAYSTORM, the second installment in TAITO’s classic RAY series of arcade shooting games, locks on to iPhone!

TAITO is famous for arcade shooting games, and the RAY trilogy is one of its most beloved series! Beloved for its beautiful 3D graphics and exhilarating pace, the series’ second installment (following RAYFORCE) is now available in app form!

*Two Game Modes: Remix Mode and Arcade Mode!
-The Remix Mode provides a new, iPhone-optimized experience with revised difficulty setting, enemy placement, and color schemes. The special TANZMIX mode sound is fresh, too!
-For the hardcore, Arcade Mode is a faithful touch screen recreation of the original arcade game. 

*Two Shooting Methods: Auto and Manual!
Auto Mode provides automatic, button-free firing for both the standard weapon and lock-on laser, allowing players to take on this challenging game with a single finger.
-When impacted with special Attack gauge accumulated, Round-Divider activated by auto! You can avoid the shot of your aircraft!
Manual Mode adds weapon controls (a toggle for the standard shot; fire buttons for the lock-on laser and special attack), providing a more arcade-like play experience.

*Support MFi Bluetooth controllers!!
Key configuration is also possible! You can place 'Shot', 'Laser' and 'Special attack' on your easy-to-operate button!
(When using the controller and playing Remix Mode,you can change the speed of your ship from OPTION > Move Ratio.)

*Choose between two ships: the R-GRAY1 and R-GRAY2!
RAYSTORM features two playable ships, each with different combat capabilities. The R-GRAY1 boasts powerful shots, while the R-GRAY2’s lasers are capable of locking on to a greater number of targets. Choose the ship that best suits your play style! 

*RAYSTORM's enchanting soundtrack is back!
One of the highlights of the original RAYSTORM experience was its sound design, perfectly replicated here under the supervision of TAITO's ZUNTATA sound team. In addition to the classic soundtrack, this edition includes special TANZMIX renditions!

*Added a arranged BGM by MASAKI(ZUNTATA) on Archade mode Area1!
Using Option setting,you can choose Original BGM or Arranged BGM!!

*Difficulty Modes Added!
A total of 8 difficulty modes are now available, ranging from Very Easy to Very Hard.
High difficulty can aim high scores!

I don’t get the hate for this game.  The remastered the graphics are fitting and it’s such a fun SHMUP.  Cool bosses and I love the way the levels twist around your ship.  I love all three in the series.

### 1/5 — WHY WONT IT "TOUCH TO START"? IM DONE!!! HELP ME TAITO! FIX THIS!

When I open RAYSTORM, It obviously goes through the Taito™ Logo and then goes to the Touch to Start screen aka the Start Screen. So I tap to start the game. And it won't work. The words "Touch To Start" just stay there and then fade out and come back and fade out again. You know what I mean but. Anyways, I just stay there tapping my screen so hard that I'm sure that I was on the brink of breaking the iPad Screen. So I played RayForce... Which is not included in this review because this is my review about RAYSTORM, So RAYSTORM wouldn't startup. So I just want Taito™ to fix this. They either fix this with an update or they give a refund.

그렇게 바라고도바란 고전슈팅게임 명작인 레이스톰이 발매되었습니다.

하지만 8.99달러만큼의 돈값을 못하는거 같아서 아쉽네요.

무엇보다도 이동관련 인터페이스가 케이브사에 비해 배려가 없었으며

게임은 딱봐도 에뮬레이터에 입력만 터치로 전환한듯한 무성의함이 너무 아쉽네요.

아이폰모드라고 따로 있는 모드가있지만 이모드는 예전 게임판으로 발매되었던 게임에도 수록되어 있던 어레인지모드이며

이미 엑스박스에 HD버전을 발매하였음에도 불구하고 비슷한 가격에 플스시절의 그래픽그대로 아이폰판만을 출시한건 확실히에러라고 생각합니다.

드디어 긴시간 끝에 HD모드가 업데이트 되었네요 
그동안 모바일 슈터 게임들의 편의성이 많이 좋아졌는데 아직도 불편한점은 있지만 조작편의성과 해상도가 좋아짐으로서 많이 괜찮아졌습니다

Titre faisant partie du panthéon des shoot'em up...excellent.
J'ai ce jeu depuis 5 ans me suivant d'un iPhone a un autre j'espère une mise à jour pour qu'il tourne avec iOS 11... et Taito à quand le troisième opus de cette trilogie?

When I found RAY STORM and RAY FORCE in the App Store, I was very skeptical about buying these games. 

I bought them and find I'm forcing myself to quit playing these games. 

I quickly forgot about the $15 I spent for RAY STORM and RAY FORCE. Very happy and satisfied. 

Please add MFI support for these great games.
