So called RBC and waited on hold for 15 minutes. Was told the app is no longer supported and I could instead scan checks by logging into my US account through a browser on my iPad or iPhone. That worked but is not as quick as the app and I am sure many users are unaware since the app is still in the App Store and there is no mention of it being discontinued in the App Store or within the App. Either remove this from App Store or support again. ### 1/5 — Credentials not working anymore... *2017-07-15, version 2.0* With this new version, credentials are not working anymore...?!? Simple app that could be upgraded- apple phone keeps telling me it needs to be- but it worked fine and got the job done. Now it crashes after front image is taken. It's about time this bank gets a functional app like Bank of America or Royal bank Canada! I use bank of America for all my daily banking as it's very easy to use their mobile app! And I use constantly. ### 5/5 — For RBC USA accounts! *2013-02-10, version 1.0.1* I live in Canada, but on a trip to the US one year I went to a RBC USA branch and opened a US account. Thankfully they have the "embassy" account that links to my canadian accounts online (which allows for easy money transfers between accounts). This app will not work unless you have opened an account directly with RBC USA! Before this app, to deposit money into my US account I either had to mail my US branch a cheque/money order or transfer funds from my canadian accounts online. This app has made it so easy to make deposits! As long as it is a US check, you just take a photo of front and back, type in the amount of the check and hit deposit. It's that easy! This app was definitely a lifesaver when we had many US checks being sent to us for returned security deposits after our US wedding.
