Hopefully this gets fixed soon. ### 3/5 — Text size so small *2025-08-25* You should be able to change text size, the text is so small that you can easily make a mistake ### 2/5 — Extremely basic *2025-08-21* When it comes to banking functionality, this app is extremely basic. For my CC, all I can do is see my balance and transactions, no ability to see my current statement balance, minimum due, past statements, nothing. It feels 5-10 years behind other bank apps. Also, I’ve given up on FaceID. The FaceID “expires” after 2-3 weeks, so if I am just looking to see what my current statement balance is every 4 weeks, FaceID is useless. Can we get that back? ### 1/5 — Chicken & Egg Issue with this & RBC app *2024-06-05, version 8.5* i’m not sure what’s happening, but when i try to login to this app with the credentials i use for my standard RBC banking app, it says invalid credentials. So i update my password in the RBC launch app, and i’m able to login, but now i’m unable to login to my RBC banking app again with those newly created credentials - again, due to ‘invalid credentials’. So i say i forgot my password in the RBC banking app, i update it to the same password i just created when making a new account in the RBC launch app and it says that i can not re-use an old password. i create a new password in the RBC banking app, login, but then receive the message saying ‘invalid credentials’ when using these new credentials in RBC Launch. Even if i reset my password from the desktop site, whichever app i access first is the one i’m able to access - the other will say ‘invalid credentials’. there’s no room for error as i’m inserting the passwords from the same profile in my password manager, it seems like a chicken & egg issue.. can someone please resolve this so i can be logged into both apps at the same time with the same credentials? ### 1/5 — What is this app for? *2024-04-07, version 8.3* Not sure what the purpose of this app is, I don’t see anything apart from what I already see in the main app. There is FaceID but the feature doesn’t work, just greyed out. Other parts of the app show error messages. Like much of the RBC IT infrastructure it appears they lack UAT before cleaning up glaring errors. Update, following RBCs “sales pitch” response: I deleted the app, these bells and whistles are useful especially as I bank across multiple institutions and countries. It’s a pity that RBC can’t fix basic issues with its website ie login area not working in Firefox, online appointment booking down for a week, and much more. ### 1/5 — Card confirmation *2023-11-15, version 8.0* I have always been able to access my card details using Face recognition Why was it changed? ### 1/5 — Stopped working *2023-05-15, version 7.0* It’s been a couple of weeks now and App crashes on startup. Thanks to the amazing staff that field the calls from customers like me who are being detained within a government health facility to ensure that I survive bronchial pneumonia AND am clear of TB AND have stable mental and emotional wellbeing before being released back into the real world. Which frankly can be harsh at the best of times. Thanks RBC for the dedication and support given when needed the most.
