## What is RC Speed Run?

How fast is your RC car, really? Log the run, add your proof, and find out exactly where you stand.

RC Speed Run is the leaderboard for RC top-speed runs. Enter your best speed in mph or km/h, record the setup that got you there, and see your rank against drivers around the world.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Log a run in under a minute. Speed, date, and your car - that's all it takes to get on the board.
- Save the full setup: motor and Kv, gearing (pinion, spur, FDR), battery and cell count, tires, and notes.
- Add photo or video proof. Runs over 50 mph need a GPS photo or video to rank, so the board stays honest.
- See three leaderboards at once: global, your country, and your car's class.
- Watch your personal best climb over time, run by run.
- Share a run or a whole leaderboard with your crew, or keep your log private. Sharing is always your choice.

HOW IT WORKS

You measure the run however you already do it - a GPS speed meter, a phone GPS app, or a radar gun. RC Speed Run is where you record it, prove it, and compare it. The app does not measure speed for you.

A bit confused as it allows you to add as many cars as you want with various cell options, but it won’t update the board with the other cars you have uploaded that are of various cells. Need to update this.

Seems like a decent app however there should be a way to search for other peoples runs by chassis so you can see what others are doing on the same chassis easily. Other than that i am pretty happy with it

### 3.0.11 — 2026-08-26

Slow runs are about to count. We're opening the Up to 2S board down to 30 mph, and when you log a run under 50 the app now asks one quick question about your battery so the run is ready for it. Under 30 mph it simply records your personal best, with no nagging for proof.

Signing in got simpler: an emailed code is now the only way in, on every device.

A fresh look on launch, plus a fix to the "add your email" screen so a bad connection can no longer tell you a good code was wrong.

### 3.0.10 — 2026-08-20

Signing in is more forgiving. If a code keeps getting rejected, the app now tells you plainly and points you at the two things that actually work - a fresh code, or a different email - instead of repeating the same message every time.

The "send a new code" button now always waits a sensible moment before it re-arms, including when you have no connection. Tapping it over and over can no longer lock you out of your own sign-in.

### 3.0.9 — 2026-08-10

Set a personal best and the app now says so. If your run is your fastest yet — or your car's best — you'll see it celebrated even when the run isn't on the boards yet, along with what to add to get it ranked. Before, those runs just said "run logged".

Claiming runs from the old app is clearer too. The old-name box no longer starts filled in with your current name, describing one of your old runs is now required (that's what we match on), and we'll email you either way once we've looked.

Two sign-in fixes. Tapping "Verify & sign in" with an empty box no longer tells you your code was wrong — it just waits until you've typed one. And if you mistype a digit, the app now tells you to check the code, instead of saying it expired and sending you off for a new one — which used to cancel the code you already had.

Sharing a run now actually says something. Instead of a bare link, your share carries the brag — your speed, your car, and your rank if you took one. Country leaderboards can be shared too, so you can point your local crew at the board you're on. Signing in is clearer as well: if your code has expired, the app now says so and points you at a new one, instead of telling you to re-check a code that could never work.
