Set up everything properly (ZEALOUSLY adhering to the instruction manual) and started using the unit. Finished my reloading and powered down the unit. The next day I tried using the unit and it would not power up. Eliminated all the issues associated with proper and thorough troubleshooting and it still would not turn on. I finally unplugged the power at the rear of the unit and reinserted the plug. It powered up but then shut down. I touched the plug and the unit, briefly powered up. Bottom line is that the receptacle on the rear of the unit is faulty and I awaiting a response from RCBS about where to send the faulty unit. I’ve had the unit two weeks now and was hoping that this unit would be better than the Chargemaster I replaced it with. Of note, I had the Chargemaster for 7 years and it just stared acting poorly…. ### 2/5 — App needs work *2022-10-30, version 1.06* Way too many screens to go through to get to dispensing. And I am tired of having to pair every time I open the app having to select a machine is useless, almost all of us just own one. Make it connect automatically when you open the app and have the Home Screen just be a bunch of toggles for settings (powder learn, auto, etc.) and an area to select weight. Seriously, you need to fix it, it’s terrible for this of us who work up loads and do lots of 5 round weigh outs we won’t be using again or storing. ### 2/5 — Good Concept, Poor Performance *2022-08-10, version 1.05* Love the idea of the app and has a lot of potential but the app constantly crashes when trying to set the active powder profile or modify load data to allow it to dispense. Will revise review if they fix the app. Right now it isn’t useable. ### 3/5 — Ok app! *2021-11-28, version 1.04* Needs improvement. Adjust charge weights in auto mode or normal mode should be one!have to cancel the dispense to change weight. Doing a ladder test in auto mode you have to exit out everytime start over at the main menu. Needs to have the ability to go up or down on grains during the powder cycle sequence. Pretty obvious need for any reloader. It’s incredible how poor the instructions are (the worst I’ve seen, and that includes “Chinese instructions”, or chenglish instructions. There are no troubleshooting instructions. The powder dispenser will have to be used manually. What a piece of garbage. As a tech savvy person who uses apps all the time, I am clear on it’s directions of use. Sadly it is woefully inaccurate when tallying over-throws and under-throws, after a session. Emails to RCBS several tech support went unanswered. This app is so bad I just stopped using it and use the machine manually. The errors strike me as a safety issue. ### 1/5 — Can’t pair to charge master link *2023-04-16, version 1.4.29* When I click my device 00000 in the app to pair it doesn’t pair. ### 1/5 — Application is not working for me *2023-02-12, version 1.07* The pairing process success, serial number not retrieved, calibrations process finished with error. Send request to tech support. Will see what I did wrong. ### 1/5 — Do not buy! *2021-09-05, version 1.01* After spending hours to get the app to connect the machine works decently. Over throws a lot on match mode. Not worth the money when there are better options out there. Tells you all the steps and when to do them. Like to put I pad next to my press I can see how much powder was thrown. With out having to turn and look directly at the charge master. Also, gives a run summary. Would like to have a running count on the dispense page but next to that really like it. ### 5/5 — Annoying *2021-11-09, version 1.03* If you don’t use it constantly the app crashes. I reload in big amounts so I don’t have to do it all the time. So each time I want to load I delete the app and download again. This is an issue that’s happened for years even though the reviews disappear with each update. ### 3/5 — Functional, but buggy. *2025-12-11, version 1.4.47* This app does the essential things OK. However, there are lots of issues. The worst is that you are not able to edit your saved profiles. It’s also difficult to erase some profiles. It looks like it’s writing your new profiles over an old profile that you no longer want, but then your new profile doesn’t show up. Additionally, it keeps score it’s over throws, but then when you edit the profile before saving it, it doesn’t start over again, and it doesn’t add the new information. These are definitely bugs and not features. It shouldn’t be too hard to fix any of these problems. I hope they do it soon. ### 3/5 — Review of the App *2024-07-19* I only gave a 3 star because the app needs a lot of work. Not so much as far as it glitches or it not working. The app actually works perfectly my issue is it doesn’t do anything. Aside from calibrating my scale easily and shows a run of charges in a session. I purchased the match master scale I paid quite a bit of money for this scale. And it does work and do it’s job it’s accurate but I just think the app has way more potential.
