### 4/5 — Great product. I use every time I fly!

*2022-04-18*

Such a great tool for keeping my planes and batteries, maintenance under control. I fly every week and have about 15 planes I fly regularly and this keeps me on track with each plane. The reporting function is very powerful to understand the history of your experiences with each plane. Great job!

### 4/5 — Good but could be better

*2020-08-22*

So far, it’s the best flight and battery logging app I’ve found, but has room for improvement. The flight timer feature gets in the way and slows data entry down if you’re like me and use your transmitter’s timer instead. It could be easier to log flights in bulk at the end of the day. Also wish there were notifications warning you after a few days if you left your LiPo batteries at anything other than storage charge.

### 5/5 — Still the best.

*2018-03-28*

I’ve been using this App from Day one. Better than anything out there. Great response from the developer regarding questions. Couldn’t ask for anything more. A must have for Gas/Electric/anything!

### 5/5 — A great tool

*2017-05-20, version 4.6.2*

I love to use this app to keep track of battery usage. I have over 30 batteries for different models and this app really helps to manage them in the best possible way to ensure that they remain healthy and last as long as possible. It's also interesting to see how much usage each model gets. BUT... No update in 2 years! Will the developer update this app to make sure that it remains compatible with future iOS versions or will I have to start tracking my battery usage all over again with a different database? PLEASE UPDATE!!!

### 5/5 — Great Tool

*2016-09-13*

Of the hundreds of apps I've downloaded over the years, this is one of my favorites. I fly pattern and for years I kept a manual log book. I've used this since 2010 and find it invaluable for tracking battery usage, maintenance, flights, and contest events. The author does an excellent job of adding new features. Recently, I needed some support while at a contest. I used the online support form and had an answer with fix within a few hours. I wish all support was this good! Kudos to CleverTangerine!

### 5/5 — Excellent. Lots of clever features

*2016-04-09, version 4.6.2*

This app is great and well thought out. Lots of nice features like the bar codes, sharing data, checklists and much more.

### 5/5 — A Great Tool

*2015-08-01*

I've been using this since July of '10, and what started off as a highly usable and useful app has improved with each iteration. The addition of the battery storage state indicator in version 4 really completes it for me.
Update: now 5 years of use and it continues to be a great tool with great continuing development and user support.

### 5/5 — An Amazing RC Tracking Tool

*2015-04-26*

An already great app just got even better with a new update!

If I had to describe this app in one word, it'd be: WOW! But since I don't, I'll say a few more...

I've been using this app for a few months now and I'm VERY impressed by the level of detail and completeness. The developer thought of almost everything needed to log your RC aircraft flights, battery use, and charging. You can even safely back up or print the logs and database. I especially like the ability to print and scan barcodes for my aircraft and batteries... in two sizes even. How cool!

SUGGESTION to BUYERS: READ, then REREAD THE MANUAL!!! It's is available for download from the developer's website! This app does so much, you'll be hard pressed to figure it all out without first carefully going through the manual from start to finish while referring to the app. One suggestion I have is to set up a test aircraft, a couple of test batteries, test checklists, etc., then log some pretend flights and battery recharges in the app until you figure out how everything interacts. Once you've experimented sufficiently, you can delete all your test stuff and start over logging your real RC aircraft and batteries.

One minor suggestion to the developer: Please consider adding the ability to automatically back up the database to Dropbox (maybe on a set schedule) so I don't have to remember to do so.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2014-11-15, version 4.5.2*

Great bit of software, great support, does what it says really well.

### 5/5 — RC Logbook

*2014-05-25*

For an avid R/C pilot this is the greatest software ever developed for monitoring flight data and battery usage. It's easy to manually enter all the data you need. I use it on every flight and yes I may be a little to precise but I can tell you how many hours are on each of my aircraft. Also battery info like IR and number of charge cycle help me. Keep up the good work. I love this app.

### 5/5 — By Far the Best.

*2014-04-26, version 4.2.0*

This app is what you're looking for if you want to quickly log your RC flights. I deleted the other four I found after buying this one. Yes, it's worth the $5.
Clean, quick, organized, pleasant to look at and it works.

### 5/5 — Great Product, Excellent Support!!!

*2013-04-13*

I just purchased this app, after purchasing the other popular r/c flight log app and it locking up on the first use. I am glad it did, because this has so many cool and USEFUL features!!!

It is Saturday and I had a question about manually entering data. I sent an email on the way to the flying field and had a response by the time I unloaded the aircraft!

Awesome!

### 5/5 — Wow

*2013-03-08, version 4.0.0*

Absolutely amazing for rc pilots. I liked having a place to keep track of model notes and when I got my first electric heli it was awesome for keeping track of battery life and great for flight time calculating. Sadly I would have really liked fuel logging to come sooner as I didn't have it until after I started switching to electric but still great to have now!!!!!! Best rc app out there!!!!! Even better this app has not once asked me to stop what I was doing to write this review!!!!! Very very satisfied

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2012-12-10, version 4.0.0*

This is one of the best apps I've downloaded. It's so well thought out and does just about everything you could want from a logbook. It very clear that this has been designed by someone who actually flies/drives RC. Well worth the price!

### 5/5 — The best so far

*2012-11-07, version 4.0.0*

I have tried most of the other log apps. This is the best compromise of polished UI and features. Maybe an iPad version one day? BTW, i don't care about the shake-to-start timer either, but there is a way to enter your flight time manually.

V4.0 got even better.

Keep up the good work!

### 1/5 — No flight logs

*2024-10-20, version 5.2.3*

Whilst I love the interface and many options, why is there no ability to add a flight log? I’ll just create my own app as this is kind of pointless.

### 1/5 — Sorry. Hate it.

*2018-08-12*

Not remotely intuitive. It needs my contact list to even enter my own name. Really? It seems to think I'll have several people I'm tracking. I wanted to enter past flights. Can't figure out how. Import? From WHAT? I have a paper logbook. Live tracking? Like I'm going to walk to the flghtline with my phone in my hand and shake it to time my flights? Then remember to pull it out and mark it done?

Battery trackers?

WAY too complicated. Sorry I bought it.

### 1/5 — Almost worthless

*2012-10-02, version 3.8.2*

Being I have to shake my phone before and after each flight just to record a flight. Why can't I just say I flew it for 6 minutes?

### 1/5 — Save your five bucks, Great Idea but needs work!

*2009-09-26, version 0*

Read reviews In magazines, I guess they tried it for free! Not user friendly, has no versatility. Has potential for revision. Definitely not worth the money at this time. I'll go back to paper logbooks for now. Would be a useful tool IF improved!

### 1/5 — Save the $5.

*2009-07-08, version 0*

This program is just not robust enough. It is a great idea, but poorly executed. The user needs to be able to have more input and a LOT more fields. For the Sunday flier, this is probably fine, but for the RC enthusiast, you will be left wanting more.

### 2/5 — Good idea but no where near potential

*2010-02-02, version 0*

It's a good concept but has a long way to go before it's worth the price. No indication that we should expect to see an update for the app. Stick with pen and paper or Excel and save your money on something more wothwhile.

### 3/5 — App

*2021-02-16*

Not very user friendly

### 3/5 — It's just OK

*2014-05-23, version 4.5.2*

Could be better. For example, you can't just manually enter flight info. You have to actually run the app during the flight. Forgot to start the app? Can't manually enter it, at least not easily. Screen timeout on your phone turns on? Can't disable it or manually enter the flight info.

### 3/5 — Hoping for more updates

*2014-05-12, version 4.5.1*

I think this can be a great tool. Couple of things I don't like - 1. Having to shake my phone. Just let me push a button or enter a time. If I happen to move quickly while flying, or take a step, I risk turning the timer off. 2. How about battery info for the DJI intelligent flight battery? I've had a difficult time obtaining some of that info.

### 3/5 — am I missing something here

*2009-05-14*

None of my aircraft or batteries are new, I thought I would be able to enter my old logbooks manually and keep all logs on my iphone. I have up to 5 timers on my radio and they are much easier to use. I think this will be a great ap when I can punch the info in myself. Again I might be missing something here, so help me if I am. For right now I am out $4.99.

### 5/5 — This is a great tool to track your rc flying with

*2024-11-30*

I have been using this app for a few years and I love it.

**Developer response:** There is support in the app for parallel charging. You can double-tapp a battery in the Battery tab to parallel cycle multiple packs. The Logging Cycles section of the user's guide (accessible either through the app from "About RCLogbook" or on the RCLogbook page on clevertangerine.com) has additional details on RCLogbook's implementation. Drop us an email if you have suggestions on how to improve that support.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2023-08-17, version 5.2.3*

Super way of tracking models and batteries with some really clever analytics used with batteries in particular. Easy to use, simple to download the database file and a good way of checking just how many cycles your batteries have, keeping track of what is or isn’t charged and even how much each model costs per flight!

### 5/5 — Best of the RC apps still

*2022-06-26*

I’ve used this app for years and can say this is still the best little app on the market. I hope the developer keeps supporting it.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2021-05-25, version 5.2.2*

If you are investing money into this hobby, find an iPhone indispensible and you can take the time log all the parameters of your flight this app will be invaluable to you.
Backup regularly and periodically print your fiiltered logs by model and you will really appreciate this app.

### 5/5 — Great Log Keeping for batteries and drones

*2020-08-02*

Keeps great track of my Quad Copter and Drones flight times and best part is Battery Cycles it keeps for each battery.

Excellent APP for a drone brain.

### 5/5 — Pop

### 5/5 — Great tool for historical data and maintenance tracking

*2020-01-26, version 5.1.1*

Just needs to be compatible with the HobbyKing battery warranty barcode but that isn’t a show stopper.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2019-09-09, version 5.1.1*

Je m’en sers à tous mes vols et pour toutes mes avions rien de mieux dans apps

### 5/5 — Excellent and very easy to use

*2019-08-03*

Works extremely well. Intuitive to use and learn. I like the flexibility in setting it up, and a fantastic way to keep track of LiPo batteries as well as your aircraft and to record your flights. I like all features in one app, battery inventory with log for charge, discharge and storage; aircraft inventory and maintenance tracking and customizable checklists. I highly recommend this app.
