## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Wanted a magazine got a “download”

*2020-10-26*

I specifically requested a physical magazine through my door. For the last two years all I get is an email to download something. I’ve complained numerous times and have been told to contact Apple. Fat chance. Extremely disappointed they are happy to ditch readers that have been loyal for 50 years. Keep your downloads. Good luck with that kind of customer service.

### 1/5 — No free plan!

*2015-02-08*

The cover says free plan included, however there is no free plan! Be aware. The free plan was one of the major decision points for choosing RCM&E. Very disappointed...

### 1/5 — Complete rubbish

*2013-06-11*

Will not allow me to view any of my RCM&E or Model Engineers Workshop subscriptions. Don't waste time downloading. It's RUBBISH. Would give zero stars if I could.

### 1/5 — Can't use existing subscription

*2012-12-27*

If you subscribe to the old fashioned dead tree edition, you can't use this digital version.

### 2/5 — Rcme

*2013-09-11*

The magazine is good but the app is not so good. You cannot access digital archive you have to go through the web site and you can only view on one device Not very handy if you cannot find the blue iPad!

The magazine appears in wh smiths before it appears in the app

### 3/5 — Rating dialog box always comes up... Can't remove it!

*2014-02-06*

Irritating this rate it dialog on my iPad. Even writing a review like this doesn't seem to clear it and the "not now" or "remind me later" boxes appear to be inactive.
When it works it's OK!

### 3/5 — Digital subscriptions yes, back issues no.

*2013-07-20, version 4.9.10*

Whilst it's good to get a downloadable option, as a digital issue subscriber, I am very disappointed that I cannot download back issues dated from the start of my yearly subscription. Why should this not be possible?

### 4/5 — Works well for what I want

*2018-09-08*

This app functions well for me and lets me easily read the magazine on the iPad. It could perhaps be improved by the adding bookmark functions that would take you from the magazine index to the relevant page.

### 4/5 — RCM&E

*2013-09-12, version 4.9.10*

I like the speed of receipt and portability plus the access to previous issues.
I dislike the fact I can not download previous issues from when I took out my first subscription.

### 5/5 — RCME

*2019-05-25*

Truly a good magazine with a wide range of specialties.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — RCME

*2016-04-22*

Best RC magazine, but you do need a pocket mags account.

### 5/5 — World's Best Radio Control Aeromodelling Magazine

*2015-08-19*

I have been modelling for 25 years and in that time I have read / subscribed to quite a few RC aeroplane magazines. It took me 20 years to finally realise this is the best bar none. Best range of articles and topics. A must read every month.

### 5/5 — Useful addition to paper copy

*2015-08-04*

Great to travel with just an iPod

Great to have access to Digital Archive

Still want the paper copy as well

### 5/5 — I'm pleased this exists

*2015-01-06*

Very good content. But this is an old fashioned print magazine and has not been redesigned for display via mobile devices. So can be a little frustrating to read.

### 5/5 — RCME Digital

*2014-09-12*

An excellent informative magazine. Well displayed and accessed within the app.

### 5/5 — RCME Digital
