Für hochwertige Produkte wo man viel Geld liegen läßt kein kostenlose Software ist nicht das was ich mir vorstelle. And iPhone have got one put so i want to listen my record with headphone which is connect on iXLR. My phone is iPhone 13Pro (I tried with iPhone 8 too) , software is iOS 16.1, headphone is Apple Earpods (I tried with Roland RH200, this headphone not have mic), microphone is Shure SM58 dynamic mic. The recordings I do have are incredibly difficult to get off of the app, I still have not found a way to get the files to download. Most annoying of all, the app will not let me review the audio through my AirPods. Seriously who thought this app was worth publishing? Yes there is an entry in Rode blog that they have taken it down to update it but to no avail. How am I supposed to record in 96kHz now? I thought Apple was going to start removing apps that haven’t been updated in the last few years. Cmon Rode, you make great hardware, how about putting just a little work into the software side. It’s embarrassing how sad the quality of the available apps (this is the worst of them). This app looks and works like it’s a high school beginner programming class project that at best would get a C- grade. (Only because it actually runs, doesn’t crash the phone, and records audio. Sadly, you can’t do anything with the recording. It can turn off automatic iOS sound processing and make recording as professional as it is possible for this type of devices. Free version can record 48kHz 24bit file from built-in mic and upload it to FTP (you may use a free one too), Soundcloud or smaller files via e-mail. Even records 48 kHz from the built-in mic or earbud mic. Gain is available: “+” > Settings > input > Mic Gain. Recordings are saved on the phone, but need to be “published” by File Sharing directly to Safari or Chrome, or uploaded to SoundCloud, FTP server or even email in order to be finalized and become a file to be imported into editing software, so wi-fi access will be essential. Format (WAV, AIFF) is set when publishing.
