What are we supposed to do with styrofoam, plastic wrapping, glass, etc. Pressure should be on councils and governments to force industry, the manufacturers of material you do not handle to mfg. what you do handle. Like a lot of people I think we should dump this stuff on the front door of the RDN office. ### 3/5 — Don’t Break the Routine *2022-01-10, version 2021.12.17* I’m still waiting for a pickup after the usual routine was disrupted by the arrival of winter. Sadly, we cannot cope when the roads turn white. Information provided by the app has been sporadic and incomplete leading to daily trips back and forth from the garage. The neighbours have simply given up, leaving their bins in the street 24 / 7. This hinders ploughing and leaves the bins available to animals and in one case a vehicle collision. To make this app really useful in these circumstances a bit more effort needs to be made to gather and report system status. ### 4/5 — Helps keep track of the recycling maze *2024-02-19, version 2023.4.20* Useful app to keep track of recycle/compost/ garbage days. Especially useful is the “What Goes Where” feature, to sort out destinations for the plethora of plastics and products that pass through our lives.
