## What is Reactor?

Ice is closing in on Cryton38, and the reactor is all that keeps it going. Particles stream down the tube toward the reaction chamber. Tap the one that matches the particle at the bottom, and keep the power coming.

HOW IT PLAYS
• A match is a good reaction. A mismatch spills sludge into the reactor.
• Good reactions in a row build heat, and heat makes power. The hotter the reactor runs, the more each reaction makes.
• Heat frosts the tube and hides the particles on their way down. Remember what's coming.
• When the sludge reaches the top, the reactor catches fire. Put it out with credits, or let the shift end.
• Unlock rare and exotic particles for even more power.

MISSIONS AND THE LAB
• Work through missions in classes. Finish most of one class to open the next.
• Discover elements by how you play (particles hidden, particles combined, the sludge level), then combine them in the Utility Lab: the Particle Peeper, the Sludge Siphon, Kepler's Coolant, the Containment Field and more.
• Every 80 KW you produce earns a credit. Spend credits on extinguishers, utilities and mission skips.

MELTDOWN MODE
Heat climbs with every good reaction and never cools. Choose how many particles it may hide, from 3 to 6 or no limit, and see how much power you can make before the reactor gives out. Each run uses a fusion cell, and the cells recharge over time.

ALSO
• Reactor first came out on the iPhone in 2013. This is the same game, rebuilt for today's iPhones and iPads.
• No ads, no accounts, no purchases.
• Nothing is collected. Your progress stays on your device.
• Plays offline.

### 1/5 — Won't work

*2015-11-09*

I hate these Game Center games. They do not work unless you sign in and they won't let me sign in. They either say the nickname is already in use or it freezes. So it doesn't matter how great this game is, it is useless.

Deleted this piece of junk

### 3/5 — Good idea, poor execution

*2015-03-22*

Confusing and ugly UI. I can't make sense of any of the numbers, powerups, jargon, etc. Hard to recover when you miss just 1. Tip to developer: simplify. Think Apple design

### 5/5 — Nice

*2014-09-12*

Quite the mental challenge. Fun gameplay and easy to pick up.

### 5/5 — Fun Brain Trainer That Actually Works

*2014-08-25*

For those not familiar with N-Back, it is the only brain training game type thus far to show any signs of actually improving fluid intelligence. And this is actually a fun game too!

If you're curious about why N-Back training is so promising. Check out some articles or books on working memory (beware this is not the exact same thing as short term memory, many articles or even textbooks fail to make this distinction). Only working memory training has so far show transference to other mind-intensive skills, unlike most other brain training games and systems out there (even professional looking systems like Luminosity).

This is also the first game I've seen that also makes N-Back training actually FUN! It's got unlockables, and is very well done. Sure it's not going to be the most enthralling game you ever play. But I'd say it's not too far off from games like threes or candy crush.

One last note is the in-app purchases are not bad at all. I'm opposed to in-app purchase games in general, but you don't need them in this game; if you're failing, you should be starting over for best training anyways. The only reason I see to get them is to support the developer for making such a fun and useful app.

### 4/5 — Fun nback

*2014-07-04*

Usually nback is annoying. This is fun. I'd buy but in app purchases don't make sense to me in this game.

### 5/5 — Challenging Game

*2014-03-07*

I've played this game for a few days now. It is defiantly very challenging and puts your memory to work. I recommend this game to anyone who wants to boost their intelligence and have fun doing it.

### 5/5 — Great!

First new game in awhile I found challenging and addicting. Worthwhile download.

### 5/5 — Worth 5 stars!!

*2014-02-03*

I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into before I downloaded this game! It defiantly has improved my memory while holding a Devine addiction! You will not be disappointed!

### 5/5 — AMAZING GAME!

### 5/5 — Great Game!

*2014-01-19*
