無料でしばらく試した後、気に入ったのでフリートライアルを経て有料1年分を申し込み。フリートライアルを押さなければ無料のままで1アカウントのみ普通に使えます。が、途中からちょいちょい有料アカウントへのお誘いが入ってくるので、お子さんに丸投げするのは厳しそうです。無料のまま使いたい方は常に大人の操作が必要です。 音声は人の声で、とても聞き取りやすく感じます。速さは2段階。 phonicsの本もあります。他に歌やオーディオブックもあり、掛け流しも可能。 ORCやRAZ-Kids、レプトンリーディングファームのような単語の事前練習や録音機能、ゲーム性はありません。ただし他にはないフラッシュカード類がたくさんあるので、単語を覚えたいお子さんには向いているかも知れません。実際我が家は英語初心者の子ども達が利用しています。おうち英語をもう何年もしてきたお子さんや、英語を習ってだいぶ経つお子さんには物足りないかも知れません。絵本メインというよりは、フラッシュカードメインに絵本やオーディオブック等もついてきた感じでしょうか。これから習うお子さんや、日の浅いお子さんにはオススメです。

 ここからは参考までに我が家の利用者の現状と、他多読サイトとの私見比較です。長くなるので読みたい方だけどうぞ。 我が家の利用者は半年前から英語を習い始めた小3、小1です。半年前から週2日で各25分間の英会話レッスン。後は自宅で英単語アプリや読み聞かせくらいです。知っている単語数は、カタカナ英語を英語に直した言葉も入れて150〜200程度。ごく普通です。 

 先日申し込んだORCは、1契約1アカウントのみしか作成できず。何故か一番簡単なORTのレベル1がなく、レベル1＋からのスタートに。我が家の特に小1にはやや難しく、今は私が読み進めているだけw そして読むべき順番に並んでおらず、また並べることもできず。そして順番が記載された一覧もなく。他人のブログを調べて読み進める状況です。

レプトンリーディングファームは勉強色が強い上、簡単な本の数が少なかった為、我が家はでは見送り。 Epicもgoogle read alongも我が家には少し難しく。Raz-Kidsは英会話レッスンで読んでもらうのですが、Razかこのアプリが我が家にはちょうどなレベルだと感じました。コスパで言えばRazが一番でしょうか。ただし英単語を個別に強化するならこのアプリがいいのでは？と感じました。
