My 8 year old was struggling to read we were using books then tried another app. But when we found ello after a few times she was reading. And she has improved tremendously. I tell everybody I meet about this app when they have little kids!

My son wasn’t reading at all by at the end of his 1st grade year. When I pulled him out of public school I started using Ello to help me teach him to read.  We have just finished his 2nd grade year and he’s almost at his current grade level!! Ello’s “grade levels” are a little advance and I think he’s only at a 1st grade level in the app but he’s a reading level 2 (second grade) for all other books, including the “I can read!” book series. He and all his sibling love the app, it’s engaging and rewarding and overall everyone’s favorite part of our homeschool day. I started out with a free trial and knew by the end of the first week that we would pay for the subscription.

My daughter has been using ello for the past month and has improved her reading skills drastically . She is now attempting to read labels at the store and anything she comes across . My nephew is also using it and he loves it . Our family loves this app and will continue using it.

We love Ello! Ava is reading so well. The way the books grow with her reading ability is great. My only complaint is that they don’t have enough girl clothes for Eli. Ava only wants to put girl clothes on her.

Thanks to ELLO helping my 6 year old son read at his own pace two books a day for almost 3 months now he can read a full page without stuttering and has built his confidence to pick out books at the school library. I would also like to mention customer service is so patient when it comes to fixing an error and gets back to you within a timely manner.

My granddaughter used it a few times, not as much as I had hoped. 
I was passed the free trial period canceling; however have since been in touch with the support to cancel and have yet to get the subscription cancelled. And they are still managing to steal my money.

I appreciate the data the app provides with reading rate, words child is challenged by etc. I also like the reading level selected texts which before I was having to find on my own. I would highly recommend this app, and for see long-term use for both my kids, ages 6 and 3.

This app is amazing!! Like most learning appt I am hesitant but my 5 year old is having such a hard time reading and this is the second day and I have not ever heard her read so well and with such confidence! if you are on the fence about it go for it give it a try, be consistent and encouraging.
