## What is ReadAct?

ReadAct — Turn books into skills you use.

Ever finished a book feeling like you learned so much — only to draw a blank the moment you actually need it? ReadAct turns “finished” into “usable”: upload the books or long documents you legally own, and AI distills the whole book into a practical playbook you can put to work right away.

【Upload a book, get a complete playbook】
Supports EPUB / PDF / MOBI / AZW3 / TXT / Markdown. AI extracts the frameworks, principles, methods, terms, decision rules and counter-examples from your book, then builds a Question Map of what this book can help you solve. No need to re-read the whole book — when you hit a problem, just look it up in the playbook.

【Four modes to really put methods to work】
· Produce: templates, checklists, scripts and action plans — AI hands you deliverables you can use today;
· Coach: an AI coach plays the customer, the interviewer or the negotiation counterpart, and practices with you until the methods become a habit;
· Task: break a method into checkable steps, work through them and stay on schedule;
· Q&A: ask this book your questions, and every answer marks the original source and points back to the exact place in the book.

【Every answer can be traced — not just talk】
Every answer in Q&A and Produce comes with citations back to the chapter and context, so you can verify it. This isn't an AI that just “feels right” — it's AI with evidence, so you can trust it and actually use it.

【Read it properly, too: immersive reading + listening】
Immersive reading, table-of-contents navigation, bookmarks, resume-where-you-left-off and read-aloud listening. Your books, playbooks and reading progress sync across iPhone and iPad through your iCloud.

【No sign-up, no ads — your data stays in your own iCloud】
No account needed — it just works. No identity data collected, no ads, no tracking. Your books stay only on your device and in your personal iCloud; AI receives only the necessary text chunks to generate each answer. Free users can distill and ask right away; a Pro subscription or add-on packs unlock more quota.

ReadAct — make every book you've read a skill you can actually use.
