ReaderZ helps anyone build a lasting reading habit — designed for families with children ages 5–12, but built on a simple truth: reading is for everyone, and good habits start early.

TRACK READING TIME
Start the built-in timer when your reader picks up a book. See daily progress toward a personalized reading goal with a visual progress ring.

SMART BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS
ReaderZ gets smarter the more you use it. Using Apple Foundation Models (on-device AI, iOS 26+), it analyzes books you've read and journal entries you've written to generate personalized recommendations — surfacing titles you're genuinely likely to love. No generic bestseller lists. All processing stays on-device, completely private.

BUILD A BOOK LIBRARY
Add books by scanning the barcode, searching by ISBN, or entering details manually. Track what's currently being read and what's been finished.

READING JOURNAL
After each session, write about what you read using AI-generated prompts tailored to the specific book — helping build comprehension and critical thinking. The more you journal, the smarter the recommendations get.

EARN BADGES & STREAKS
Earn 16 badges across five categories: books finished, streak length, total reading time, sessions completed, and journal entries written. Badges reset monthly to keep motivation fresh. Streak freezes keep progress alive on busy days.

FAMILY DASHBOARD
Parents see reading stats at a glance — total minutes, sessions, badges earned, and AI coach activity for each child. Sync across devices with iCloud.
