## What is Reading Comprehension Grade 3?

Help third graders fall in love with reading. 69 leveled passages, most of them fun stories with a lesson worth remembering, with 366 questions that explain every answer and 500+ vocabulary words, all in English and Spanish.

Every passage is included. No ads, no subscription and nothing else to buy.

69 PASSAGES, EASY TO CHALLENGING

• 47 stories and 22 short nonfiction articles
• 23 easy, 25 medium and 21 challenging passages written for third grade
• Stories about honesty, kindness, courage, patience, teamwork and trying new things
• Nonfiction about bees, owls, butterflies, plants, weather, the ocean and space
• Every passage has its own illustrated cover

366 QUESTIONS, EVERY ANSWER EXPLAINED

• Five questions per easy and medium passage, six per challenging one
• Every answer comes with a short explanation
• After a wrong answer, children get a hint and a second try
• Questions practice key details, main idea, vocabulary, characters, theme and inference
• Answer choices are shuffled so children learn the ideas, not the letters

500+ VOCABULARY WORDS

• Words to Know appear before each passage
• Tap any underlined word for a child-friendly definition and example in English and Spanish
• Save words to a word book and practice them later, with no timer

ENGLISH AND SPANISH

Tap ES to switch the passage, questions and dictionary to Spanish. The menus stay in English because the app builds English reading skills; Spanish lets parents follow along and help.

BUILT FOR EVERY READER

• Read-aloud narration that highlights each word, with adjustable speed
• Highlighter, adjustable text size, a dyslexia-friendly font, page colors and line spacing
• Nothing is timed, and children are never ranked against each other

PROGRESS THAT MAKES SENSE

• Set a daily reading goal and build a reading streak
• See which reading skills are strong and which need more practice
• The Try Again list brings back only the questions that were missed
• Collect 30 badges for reading, quizzes, words and streaks

FOR GROWN-UPS

Parent Zone is protected by a simple grown-ups-only question. Parents can change the daily goal, see a progress report and reset the app.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Everything works offline. There are no accounts, no advertising and no tracking. Reading progress stays on the device.

Made for iPhone and iPad.
