## What is Reading Counts!?

Formerly known as Scholastic Reading Counts!, and now brought to you by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Reading Counts! is the same independent reading program for Grades K–12 that combines reading practice and software-based reading assessment. Instructionally flexible, mastery focused, and professionally written, RC! is the program proven to develop reading skills, help raise test scores, and motivate students to achieve reading success.

RC! edges out the competition with better quizzes, which lead to more accurate data that provides more actionable reports to keep every student on track for success.

The app is nice to use at school but when I tried to download it on my phone it wouldn’t let me login to my account even though I did the exact password that was required for it.

I got in but also didnt. I typed in the id thing in settings and stuff, but when i opened the app it just shows the blue screen and logs me out into my home screen.

Does it need the school or teacher’s authorization code? My daughter use the same username and password , she can login at school but not from home.

My daughter uses reading counts all of the time! Luckily I was able to configure it without the need for a teacher (cause my daughter's teachers had no idea how to do it) or administrator. 

However, I do wish that there was an iPhone version, as the phone is sometimes more practical to carry around than the iPad.
