That makes the image too small for me to be able to read the words. **Developer response:** Hello, Double page mode can be turned off in the Settings menu. Please click the gear icon in the upper right of he screen, then select Reader Settings and from there you can toggle Double page mode on or off. If it is off, you will only see one page at a time. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2023-08-17* Can’t get to any articles. Constantly bombarded with ad to subscribe and I’m already subscribed. Called to have a customer service rep look into the problem and all she wanted to do was change my password. The search feature is completely useless. Unless you have the exact headline of the article, it doesn’t find anything for you. Frequently I have to login even though I am a full annual subscriber to the print newspaper. I am now paying over $600 a year, including small tip for carrier, but the paper is not much more than a pamphlet, and wastes that small amount of print space on articles re-printed from the AP etc. We are getting less and less local news. Sometimes I can see the Log Out icon, so I should be logged in!!!! I have USA Today on my phone and I haven’t logged in since day ONE!! It’s always just one tap! Way too small for anyone w reading glasses to see, even with glasses! I can’t read it, but at least they added a Twitter button so I can easily tweet it! (Sarcasm) ### 2/5 — I am one of the few real subscribers left... *2020-04-28* The app is crap. I get what is left of the real paper version of the Reading Eagle every day. They now charge a fortune for it so all my neighbors, friends and family have dropped it. The carrier has an easy job. They all get their news from Facebook. The free Merchandizer is a thicker paper. The app has so many ads that there is no way to read a story - all stray clicks go to ads for scam products. No viable businesses advertise here, they install cookies to slow and track your devices. It has become as close to useless as it could be. You may get an occasional old headline but that is it. The good local news coverage we once had is gone and the corporation that bought the paper continues to worsen the quality and increase the price.
