Would not recommend. It’s better to go with more enriching reading groups; you often find people new to the city and looking for women to date at these reading parties. ### 2/5 — Good idea but has limitations *2026-06-16* First of all, as an engineer myself, this app is not user friendly at all. It bugs out very often and when I tried to delete my account it showed inaccurate and confusing messages. The help & FAQ says they typically respond in 24-48 hours but I sent out 2 messages and never got any response. I liked the idea of Reading Rhythms and it could be a lot of fun in a perfect environment. I understand organizers are trying their best to accommodate and connect local readers and they did a fairly good job. However, there’s also a high chance that you meet very disrespectful readers. I personally met two men mocking mental health and therapy with great confidence. I lost a friend to mental health issues not long ago and I felt deeply uncomfortable with their insensitive behavior. I reported through feedback and of course no one responds. FYI, most people who attend their events are into romance and fantasy.
