## What is ReadingClock?

ReadingClock is a simple app to track your daily and weekly reading time and progress. By cultivating a consistent reading habit, you will witness your transformation.

Why I built ReadingClock?

This app was built by Grace, a mother of two. My children have a daily reading habit and track their reading progress. Although their school requires only 20 minutes of daily reading, my kids typically read for 40 minutes to an hour each day. Observing their significant progress in reading and writing over time inspired me to create this app. It's designed to systematize and assist other readers in following a similar routine.

This app is useful for its purpose, but I especially love that it’s genuine. The creator made this app free so anyone can use it, but offers a one-time purchase to remove ads. She could have filled it with micro transactions, but it’s clear that the creator has prioritized quality over squeezing every penny out of the product.

If you are timing and it goes past midnight, it won’t automatically split the time for you (if you were for example trying to hit a daily goal before midnight) however you can rectify this by correcting that entry into two entries, one ending at 2359 and you can also create a second entry beginning 0000-whenever you stopped.

Another bug, the last day on the calendar month doesn’t shade to show reading process

Truly grateful for an app like this. It’s simple, yet very useful. For me it has intrinsic value, so it’s very supportive of my reading habits. I only wish more people would read. How cool is the idea of logging in minutes of reading? That’s exactly why I downloaded it. I would greatly appreciate if it were updated if it gets too rigid for use. Above all I appreciate it for what it is right now. Thanks for this app!
