Says over 300 and they will convert however only 100 will convert at a time meaning I have more points than I can use and a lack of bonus to actually read. Yes. I am an idiot. I know this. They got me hooked on 2 books that I have to read to completion. But this app. Unlike every one of the others. Is a SCAM!!!! It’s a huge money grab. You get a few measly points everyday but to unlock chapters you have to get your streak for the whole week just to read one! You get these tickets that transfer to coins over time. But it’s a looooong wait and it doesn’t give you much. There’s no way to win with this app. They designed it so you HAVE to spend Money and lots of it. Unless you’re already hooked on a book DO NOT GET THIS APP. ITS NOT WORTH IT. ### 1/5 — Books are great but the point system needs a lot of work *2024-08-29, version 1.7.1* Every book I have started is great but I think it’s unfair that you have to pay for chapters you’ve read for free on Facebook. The point system is confusing and you can watch all the videos and not get enough coins or bonuses to read the next chapter. I truly hate to delete the app but it’s a total rip off. Well, the app just repeats what was already a free sample and doesn’t let you ready a word more without paying money FOR EVERY CHAPTER! Can you even imagine how much they will want to charge you to read a full book? This app is a complete SCAM! ### 1/5 — A COMPLETE RIPOFF! *2024-08-09, version 1.7.1* So I broke down and “bought” one of their books. I bought $30 in tokens so I could read the book. That only got me through about half of it. And honestly, by that point it had become derivative so I certainly wasn’t willing to purchase another $30 in tokens to finish reading it. You’re much better off to just buy your books on kindle or nook. Especially ReadNovels, I purchased a large coin package when I was on vacation in the beginning of September. For some reason the payment didn’t go through until the end of September so essentially a 2 to 3 week processing time. In the meantime while I was waiting for the coins ,I explored ways to read some of these books for free on other apps. Because I couldn’t keep paying when I know one or two of the apps had to deposit coins in my account. Fast forward into October the coins still didn’t post so I requested a refund because I already read 3 of the 5 books for free. They said they couldn’t complete the refund because the payment posted even when my screenshots for my bank said they posted. Then they came back and put the incorrect amount of coins on my account and said they couldn’t provide a refund. It took them 3 days to say they wouldn’t refund my money although the error was on them. Do not waste your money on these apps. Google the book title and there’s free links and apps that u can enjoy these cute novels on. I wish i discovered this method months ago because it would’ve said me tons of money and arguments. ### 1/5 — Don’t Bother *2024-09-25, version 1.8.0* This app’s ridiculous. Had 114 bonus coins from this mornings check in/watching ads. Read ONE chapter worth 30 coins. And now somehow I don’t have any coins. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. I’m NOT happy. And to top it off if you want to talk to anyone about issues you HAVE to download WhatsApp. Like no. I would love to get the $36 I spent on coins/bonus points back. Such a waste of money when you DON’T get what you pay for 😡 ### 1/5 — Scam *2024-09-23, version 1.8.0* This is most definitely a scam. They lure you in with a free sample. Then insert micro transactions and lie about what you are receiving. So I say use them like they used us. Read the free sample to see if you like it. They take your money then lock all the chapters again when you close the app & want you to pay to unlock again. No customer support, just adds you to a group on WhatsApp to ask others for help. Ridiculous! ### 1/5 — Too expensive *2024-09-05, version 1.7.1* I got really into my book but I had to keep purchasing coins to read each chapter. I have spent over $100 and I’m only half through the book. I wish I could finish this book but this is too expensive. I’d rather pay for the book for $50 or have a monthly payment. This is ridiculous.
