## Newest reviews (12 of 48)

### 3/5 — exspensive

*2026-08-09, version 3.0.0*

should be a 1 time purchase for 3$, cost me less to make my own custom app with ai

### 3/5 — Bottom of screen doesn’t work

*2026-07-05*

I’m on iOS 17 and onboarding didn’t work as the buttons at the bottom of my screen weren’t activating when I tapped them. This renders the app unusable.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2026-05-29*

The Let’s Go button doesn’t work. Can’t even use the app

### 1/5 — AI generated cash grab copy

*2026-05-29, version 2.3.0*

Clearly vibe coded app copy of the open source RSVP Nano. I’m sure the prompt engineer downloaded the open source files for the original, slapped it into codex and asked it to make an IOS app copy of the software. The app shows all the hallmarks of a vibe coded app like inconsistent fonts and unpolished finish (especially for an app so simple), and the fact that it makes no reference to the product it clearly copied every aspect of their app from and immediately tries to charge you $40 out of the gate to use it makes this a low effort cash grab by the developer. Go support the original RSVP nano project by John Decebal instead of this AI generated junk.

### 2/5 — Neat but lacks functionality

*2026-05-25, version 2.2.2*

I’d like to be able to just load books from Amazon or B&N but the digital rights managment creates a lot of workarounds to load content - and even then, not always successful - you’re stuck to “their library” which is nice if you want to read the pre-installed books, but useless if you have other books to read. Will be interested to see them sell this tech to those with the keys to more content. Otherwise, great tech idea, just not super handy with its current limitation.

### 1/5 — Overpriced

*2026-05-21*

Very overpriced for what it offers, no free option

### 1/5 — Great idea, work flow needs work

*2026-05-18, version 2.2.2*

When it works, it works fantastically well. However, the current user experience is incredibly cumbersome, which is why I’m giving it one star. It currently only works in Safari and doesn't support Apple News at all. Having to constantly copy and paste URLs feels like a tedious workaround. If this had a seamless, one-click extension or sharing integration rather than forcing me to jump through hoops, it would easily be an everyday app for me.

### 3/5 — Family sharing?

*2026-05-15, version 2.2.2*

I Love the app, my husband and I use it and I would totally give 5 stars BUT I would love if you offered a family sharing option so that I can use it on my iPad when reading and for my little sister who loves to read. With the prices of the subscriptions that you offer I wish I could expand it to different devices without having to log into mine on every device. Thank you!

### 1/5 — Immediate paywall

*2026-05-14*

Seems thoughtfully designed, pity in this day and age where anyone can spin up software with AI that there is an instant paywall. I built an equivalent product in 30 mins that runs in a browser using cursor and now using that.

### 1/5 — Instead, use “Stasis RSVP Reader”

*2026-05-13*

Use the free app Stasis: RSVP Reader instead. Free and superior.

What an age to live in where people have the audacity to ask for $10/month subscription for their vibe-coded app.
Immediately paywall without any free functionality

### 4/5 — Great

*2026-05-12, version 2.2.2*

Voice could sound better

### 1/5 — Needlessly expensive

*2026-05-10, version 2.2.2*

There are multiple completely free apps on the App Store that do this exact same thing. What is the justification for charging a monthly subscription for this? Also hate when apps let you go through the tutorial and setup and then tell you it costs money, don’t waste my time.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Expensive bordering scam

*2026-08-08, version 3.0.0*

Crazy to charge people 129 one time or a monthly fee to use something that is pretty transparently made with AI. There are much better free extensions or cheaper alternatives that will do literally the same if not better.

### 1/5 — Seems Deceitful

*2026-08-07, version 3.0.0*

Just put the price in the description. I hate when I have to download to figure out the price.

### 1/5 — pass

*2026-08-02*

another app locked behind a paywall, no thanks

### 1/5 — Cool but not worth money…. Subscriptions < one time payment

*2026-07-15, version 2.3.0*

7.99 a month is steep for something that just helps you read. Also not very inclined to get the year subscription for 40. Subscription based utility apps are just dumb. This software really isn’t ground breaking, or difficult to build. The price is absolutely ridiculous considering the simplicity, and actual practical application. I’ll stick to just reading books, or listening to ebooks. Would definitely consider paying once for it, but not worth adding another subscription to the endlessly growing list… greed is holding this app back.

### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work at the onboarding.

*2026-07-14, version 2.3.0*

Couldn’t change WPM. After finishing the onboarding, the button to continue just wouldn’t work. After closing and resetting my phone it’d just restart the onboarding.

### 1/5 — Unnecessary subscription

*2026-07-12, version 2.3.0*

ten bucks a month for no reason. also immediately noticed that they used ai in their description of the free trial process. lazy.

### 1/5 — I think text or PDF is its only legit import

*2026-07-06, version 2.3.0*

Frustrating - apple iOS doesn’t list it as a share to option, and I reached out to support, but no word.

### 1/5 — Paywall

*2026-07-02, version 2.3.0*

The system works but you have to pay after the tutorial

### 1/5 — Have to pay

*2026-06-23, version 2.3.0*

Can’t use app without a subscription and it doesn’t mention that until you download the app and go through the tutorial. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — $100? Stasis is free

*2026-06-05, version 2.3.0*

Look up the app: Stasis
Does the same thing besides the safari add on but for free

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — So helpful with ADHD

*2026-07-19*

I’m loving the concept so far, works amazingly with my ADHD as well I could really focus when reading, I have never been able to focus well when reading and big texts always make me feel almost dizzy, but I notice a considerable increase in my focus. Excited to keep using it, I think it’s going to help a lot of people.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-07-14, version 2.3.0*

Paid for this app. One time payment and can enter in pages from anything with copy paste and speed read through everything. Love it

### 5/5 — Only Way To Read The News

*2026-07-07, version 2.3.0*

I love Articles in seconds at 1000 WPM. I’ve been using this app everyday!!!

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2026-06-29, version 2.3.0*

The app has been killer for reading more. I’m shocked at how much I can retain using this + some summaries with AI. It’s really great.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-06-20, version 2.3.0*

Wonderful concept, I learned how to speed read and feel out of practice but this increases reading comprehension a lot thank you I was considering the lifetime before I even used it

### 5/5 — Best app for dyslexia people

*2026-06-04, version 2.3.0*

Out of every reading app I’ve tryed this is by far the best. If you have adhd or dyslexia this app will help you so much and make reading enjoyable. This needs to be in the hands of every dyslexic person.

### 5/5 — Absolutely 5-Stars Ignore the 1-Star reviews

*2026-05-30*

So many broke mooching losers want this to be free. How do expect the person who made it to make a living? Can’t pay the rent with appreciation tokens. It’s an AMAZING tool and incredibly well done. Good job, creator!

### 5/5 — Genuinely worth

*2026-05-20, version 2.2.2*

you can chose between books already on the app or import any pdf very easily

### 5/5 — Incredible App

*2026-05-04, version 2.2.1*

Using this app has been an incredible experience. It has solved a major bottleneck for me when it comes to focused reading and I love it. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Verified User - This app is a great example of AI helping people.

*2026-05-03, version 2.2.1*

Most of the different AI apps or services that I use are about convincing myself that I’m making progress learning something or making me feel like I’m gathering information but not really progressing towards learning. This app is not a replacement for reading. It is an evolution of how best to ingest information in multiple ways. You can still print off the PDF of the document that you plugged into this app, but your investing in different ways of learning going through a printed document with a highlighter and red pen is good and you should do that if it’s important information that you need to understand, but this is another layer on top of it. This is another way to make it easier to stimulate your brain for information. That’s pretty impressive.
