## What is readuck?

Read a little, then talk it through with your duck. What you learn stays with you.

readuck is a reading notes app for capturing what a book made you think and feel, by voice or by text.

"I had a great 'aha' moment, but now I can't remember it."
"I want to keep reading notes, but writing them up properly is hard work."

Just start with a explaining it toyour duck. You don't have to finish the book, and you don't have to explain it

What stood out, what you'd like to try, what still doesn't make sense. Speak or ty chapter.

■ One question from your duck
When you want to think a little more, tap "Ask me." Your duck picks up on something you wrote and asks you one question. Answering it helps you dig into your own ideas.

■ Turn notes into takeaway cards
AI organizes your notes into a card with key points, insights, and things to try. Rewrite it in your own words before you save it.

■ Check in with the duck later
Try explaining what you learned again, in your own words. Putting your earlier notes next to today's answers shows you what you still can't quite explain.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-10

Talk to a big duck, just like explaining to a rubber duck on your desk.

- "Voice note" now opens a screen where you face a big duck and talk
- What you say is transcribed and saved as notes in the chapter
- In a chapter, choose "Talk to the duck" or "Talk while reading", which keeps recording even with the screen off

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-05

readuck now speaks English.

- English support
Set your device to English, and the app, the duck's questions, and your summaries will all be in English.

- Find books in English
Search by English title to find the original edition, with its cover.

- Choose your speaking language
In Duck's Room, choose whether your voice is transcribed in Japanese or English. You can keep the app in Japanese and talk about an English book in English.
