But needs to fix the “music” element. I play with no volume. Sometimes I would like to play while listening to my music or a podcast. But this app takes over the sound even when sound is turned off. Common to see opening with WILDS, picking just the right card to pick up the pack on the last card of the game etc etc. It used to be fun but now just frustrating. There are more problems, too ### 1/5 — Unfair AI makes the game impossible *2025-08-15* I’m extremely frustrated with this app. The AI partner is consistently weak and clueless, making it impossible to play at an advanced level. Meanwhile, the computer opponents often get unfair “special hands”—like seven pairs including a wild pair—while I am never able to claim the same hand, even when I have similar cards. The AI setup is completely unbalanced, and it makes the game feel unfair and frustrating rather than fun. If you’re looking for a challenging, fair Canasta experience, this app is not it. The AI desperately needs adjustment for skill level and fairness. ### 1/5 — DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FOR A RIGGED GAME *2025-07-31, version 1.0* If I could I would give it negative stars. The game is rigged where your opponents win most of the time. It’s disgusting that I pay for a monthly subscription for a RIGGED GAME. Please be warned. Why should I pay $6.99 monthly for a game that I rarely win at. I wrote to the company days ago (they said they would get back to me with 24 hours; I hate liars. I’m deleting my subscription right now. ### 1/5 — Dumb computer partner *2025-06-04, version 1.0* The opponents go down first, have more joker canastas, 95% of the time. My partner always gives away the pack and also signals 7s and aces often which leads to me throwing mine in. Maybe the app is good vs real players, but I would avoid these canasta apps vs the robots. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2024-05-25* Beware! The computer opponents have a huge advantage. Instead of creating a good game-playing environment, the developers decided to take the easy way out and allow their computer opponents to cheat. My wife and I played against two computer opponents and they had quick wild melds twice in two consecutive hands. And then did it again in the very next game! They also get special hands at a ridiculously high rate. There are a plethora of other examples. I’ve seen other games where people spout off about it being rigged, but after playing a while, I realized they just weren’t very good at the game. This is different. Again—beware!! ### 1/5 — I would recommend any other canasta app *2024-02-19, version 1.0* This is a very frustrating game. The beginner mode is not good for learning because the computers on opposing team will always get all of the jokers & all of the packs. It’s actually kind of crazy, the game moves so fast because the opposing computers win immediately. I had to triple check that I’m on beginner / slow mode.
