=> This game is all about White to Move, Mate In 1 is the game where you have to move any white piece to checkmate in one single move.
Each puzzle you solve will give you 100 points. You will loose a life if you make a wrong move. Life bonus of each 100 points is added to your score for the lives remaining.
Let's look at the pieces movement and their attacks.
=> Pawn’s Movement: Pawns advance by one square forward. If a pawn hasn't moved yet, it has the option of advancing two squares forward, provided both squares ahead are unoccupied. Pawns cannot move backward.
=> Pawn’s Attacks: Pawns capture differently from how they move. They can capture an enemy piece on either of the two diagonally adjacent squares in front of them, but they cannot move to these squares if they are empty.
=> Rook’s Movement: Rooks can move any number of vacant squares vertically or horizontally. They are also involved in castling maneuvers.
=> Rook’s Attack: Rooks can capture any number of vacant squares vertically or horizontally.
=> Bishop’s Movement: Bishops can move any number of vacant squares in any diagonal direction.
=> Bishop’s Attack: Bishops can capture any number of vacant squares in any diagonal direction.
=> Knight’s Movement: Knights move one square along any rank or file and then at an angle. Their movement can be visualized as an "L" or "7" laid out in any horizontal or vertical direction.

=> Queen’s Movement: Queens can move any number of vacant squares diagonally, vertically, or horizontally.
