Can pick a color from a photo but that’s it. Can’t add it to my pallet to find out what colors I need to match it. And If I need to purchase anything there’s nothing. No way to do that either.

This app seriously saves me time and money, oil paint is expensive and I’ll get pretty close to the color I want just following the app. It took a while to get the palette right, using the camera feature on swatches of paint I own, selecting all the offered paints that where close in tone; ignoring the label; and let the app figure out which was closest. I wish you could just create them with hex code. Once I had done all that it was a dream come true. I can premix colors and make entire palettes prior to starting a painting saving loads of studio time and actual paint.  It helps with learning too. Sometimes I can’t get a color, and the app can’t get it either using paint I own which explains a lot. Or sometimes it finds a color with combinations of paint I likely would have never tried on my own, and they work beautiful, like making a skin tone shadow with cad orange, diox purple and burnt sienna. And when you follow the formula you almost always get something very close to what the app shows, and you don’t have to guess which ones you need to change it slightly. Sometimes you have to drastically alter the ratio for strong pigments, the app doesn’t take into account pigment strength. Would love to be able to make palettes with more than twelve colors.

There aren’t a huge number of similar apps out there to compare against, but this is a great aid to understand paint mixing or to do colour matching.

The idea is great, but there needs to be more detail in the instructions; at least in an iPhone, where do I find the base palettes? Why can’t I see the full names of colors in the swatch panels?
For beginners, it would also be helpful to have premade palettes of colors based on those typically found in basic sets

Someone else said something about not being able to delete a pallet, you just hold down and you CAN delete a pallet. Haven’t found anything wrong thus far, the app is great. Very pleased that it’s a free app (with some ads) please keep it free!! 🥳 thankyou to the creator

This is exactly what I’m looking for expect that there isn’t a paid version so the adds at the bottom cover important text.  Ugh.  Also, the colors in the color library have names but I can’t see their full name.  Also, the color names/references are hard to match with my Liquitex classic set.

I used when this app works and I have to say was wonderful now it’s not working gives me a message about doesn’t find the color that I’m looking for (136, 0, 170) with basic colors (Y, B, R, B, W)… so sorry
