I like it better than Sudoku. A couple of friends are hooked on this app too. Seemingly endless puzzles organized into different challenge levels. It is beautifully designed, easy on the eyes, with an intuitive interface. Excellent simple instructions. I have never noticed any bugs. The minimalist haptic sound—you can turn it off easily. The ads—if you keep them—do not interrupt your game play and only appear when you fully complete a puzzle. People: this developer DOES NOT COLLECT YOUR DATA and still maintains this clean fun well-designed app. If you enjoy the app and do not like the ads, simply pay $2.99 for ad-free. The concern about light and dark mode may have been intended for another app because this app is in pleasing browns. The concern about small fingers in small spaces—This app is actually superior in how its design allows you to put possible numbers in each square. Some apps do not allow that. On small phone screens, I do not see how this could be different. I have never visited an adult website. It’s sad cause I really enjoyed this game. It was challenging and made me think. If I knew how to report this, I would. ### 1/5 — Contains advertisements for spam and malware. *2026-04-18, version 5.3* While the game is OK, at the completion of a board it forces you to view an unsolicited ad for 60 seconds or so. This is bad enough, but in the ad rotation are blatant “Your phone is corrupted, download this app now to initiate a cleanup” scareware apps. Of course, the ads can be ignored (for 60 seconds) but it’s a clear attempt to install malware. The trust is broken. ### 1/5 — Beware! *2026-04-16, version 5.3* I love this game, but when a game serves you a deceptive ad, you have to question your choice. I received an add that “warns” me that I have become infected by an adult website that I visited (I didn’t), and I should install the app they are going to send me to. No info about the app, just the warning. This is deceptive and underhanded, and no legitimate app should be supporting this kind of advertising, or the app being pushed. ### 1/5 — Inappropriate ads for 4+ *2026-02-21, version 5.3* Terrible images displayed when first started. I’ve tried redownloading, I’ve confirmed my phone and app are up to date; all the usual suspects and still crashes. The flashing and video ads can be a bit annoying but can’t complain when it’s free. What IS bothersome though is this app reading material from clipboard. (Google it - apparently lots of apps were secretly doing this so Apple added the notification so you could see when it happens). There is no way to turn this off in permissions. I imagine they do it to target ads but who knows? Other apps are a mix of crossums, Ken-Ken, and Sudoku, but this one is all Kakuro. U get all of the puzzles too, not just a couple, all of em, for free. I constantly delete and re-download it to complete all puzzles over again.
