He teaches all the Word of God He keeps, not only his physical church involved, but also those watching online on what goes on in the local community and in our world that affects our every day life. I find him to be very honorable, and not afraid to teach the true gospel. I wish there were more pastors like himself. He loves Jesus, has a sense of humor, loves and cares for others and not only those of his flock. He has others who are of the same mindset that we have the privilege of listening to. I knew I would likely have to be fed through television, at least for a while. I prayed and without a doubt know that God led me to Jack Hibbs on YouTube. He is so encouraging even when he has to teach the hard stuff! But at first I rejected Jack Hibbs, on how he looked, sounded, etc. (too show business, I thought) but I was not LISTENING. I pre-judged, instead. That turned into a grudging acceptance that he’s probably legit, and his heart’s in the right place. Then my sister told me that he’s her favorite, and I started listening to him again, but actually for real. I now put Jack Hibbs on the top of my ‘regular listens’ list. I’m excited to listen to anything new from him because I see how grounded he is in the Christ of the Bible, the Gospel, the shed blood of Jesus to rescue us from judgement, the resurrection to real, new LIFE! Anyone who listens to him will be incredibly encouraged by the love of God and what God has planned for us. I have to reopen. And continue to scroll so it does not go to sleep. Other than that I love the app. I would’ve given it five star if it wasn’t for this I hope this reaches the developer and they find a way to fix it. I will give it a five star if that is fixed. ### 1/5 — Impossible to create an account *2023-07-09* I have an ipad pro. Really wanted this for bible study. I tried to create an account, but after email verification the app did not recognize me. No help was available through the church platform- only substack, which didn’t recognize me either. Tried to hit the ‘connect’ link to maybe get help- link doesn’t work! Only link that worked was the ‘donate’- go figure. Waste of time! Uninstalling! ### 1/5 — The latest update ruined the app. *2021-04-10, version 5.12.0* Was really enjoying the daily reading plan of the Bible in the app before the recent update. Now the app freezes up and won’t work at all. The wheel just keeps spinning. Very disappointed. ### 2/5 — App changes *2021-05-21, version 5.13.1* This app has been rebuilt from previous app. Very difficult to navigate and find specific teaching through search (most often results in “not found”). Watching live has also become an issue. Often live is cut off mid teaching, in order to view, I must know go to FB or YouTube or Calvary Chapel App. Previous app was much easier to navigate and I’m frustrated to say the least. Jack’s teaching is incredible! I was doing previous studies from years back, one study at a time/ one sermon or podcast/time. With new app it’s been difficult to find teachings. Also Jack’s notes are no longer viewable in many of the studies where they were there before. I have to say that Pastor Jack has been my favorite. I love how whatever he is Preaching about, he reads Scripture, or quotes it, so one knows it is based on Gods Holy Word. I can relate with his style of bringing The Word, and he never talks down to his congregation.
