## What is Real Piano?

A real grand piano in your pocket.

Every key is a real recording of a concert grand — all 88 of them. Play with every finger at once, glide across the keys, and tap near the top of a key to play softly or further down to play loud.

PLAY
• Full 88-key keyboard with multitouch and glissando
• One or two keyboards stacked, with zoom and a mini-map to jump around
• Sustain pedal, tap or hold
• Face to face: two keyboards facing each other — play a duet across the table on one iPad or iPhone
• Full-screen mode with nothing but the keys
• Plug in a MIDI keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) and play the app's piano from real keys, pedal included

LEARN TO PLAY
• Step-by-step lessons, from middle C and your first five-finger position to scales, chords, arpeggios and both hands together
• The keys to press light up, with finger numbers and tips for every new note — turn the hints off to play from memory
• Songs on a real grand staff with real rhythms; tap "Listen first" to hear how they go
• Wait mode waits for you; Tempo mode counts you in and scores every note Perfect, Early or Late
• Practise one hand while the app plays the other, slow down to 50 %, or loop a few bars until they're smooth
• Note Reading and Rhythm drills teach you to read music, in three levels each
• Earn up to three stars on every lesson and song

CHORDS & SCALES
• Every major, minor, seventh, suspended and more on every root, shown on the keys
• Play any keys and the app names the chord
• Scales in every key

YOUR OWN SHEET MUSIC
• Import MusicXML files from MuseScore and other notation apps and play along with both hands
• Sample sheets included to get you started

SOUND
• Six piano finishes, from a concert grand to felt, upright and a honky-tonk saloon
• Studio sound with a compressor and concert hall
• Speaker boost that keeps the body of the piano on a phone speaker
• Transpose and A4 tuning

RECORD YOUR TAKES
• Tap record, play, tap again — save, rename and share your takes
